I think it's interesting that there are so few supportive comments (6 not including mine) for the gesture Ohio State made to the Navy, but yet if you go to just about any other Ohio State video on youtube, at least half if not more are of the people leaving comments are bashing Ohio State in some fashion or another. I guess it's human nature to want to see someone or something on or near the top fall, sad really. As for the the teams coming out together. I think it should be standard.
Why do we only show sportsmanship like this when we play the military?
Without discounting the service the men & women of our armed services, the young men who give time to play for the fans every Saturday, who actually NEED to be reminded football is just a game, should demonstrate that sort of sportsmanship always.
@SNight322 There is a difference. The players that play for the military teams have to go to war. They do not get the opportunities like the rest of the teams do. They deserve more respect. There is no NFL future for ANY of them now days just because they have to serve upon graduation. The last military service member even drafted to the NFL was told he had to full fill his 2 years service first. He still has never played in the NFL and it has been quite some time.
