Not a bad presentation on a necessary but often overlooked topic. Actually, I don't give a fig about whether the gun has the fancy puncture needle or tip slicer. I usually have to custom cut the tip as applicable to the specific job etc. One thing, when you tell me that I must cut the tip and then insert it into the gun..you don't mind if I put it in the gun firswt and pierce and cut after? OK I see if you use the $5-7 one you'd have to use the gun itself.....a fine point to be sure. Good!
