as a machine, ps3 is the better console, rock solid, you never really hear about one braking down, it comes with a blu-ray player, games are on blurays instead of dvds etc. but i think xbox 360 is just a more fun console, online service is colorful and lively unlike the dull ps3s online service(but then again u shouldnt expect much from free service) so ps3 wins with its hardware, but xbox360 wins with its overall more fun online gameplay. they both have pros and cons.

xbox is a ripoff, they have different prices depending on the hard drive it comes with.. pay $200 and only get 4 gb of hard drive with no controller.... completely unusable. but you can pay $50 for a new hard drive and about $40 for a new controller then im pretty sure you have to buy ac and power adapters, so thats another $40-$50.. in the end you just payed around $400 dollars to be raped in the ass lol just get a ps3 slim with everything together for $300.. dont be ripped off by xbox

@Kajifleik I agree with all but 2 things. Ps3 is free and you get the same things you do in the 360 except you have to pay for 360. The only things better about 360 online and stuff is achievements, but then again Ps3 has trophies. And you got the hand sizes mixed up- PS3 has a more wideset controller, therefore making it better for big hands. And 360 has a more compact controller, making it better for people with small hands.

@SuperJono10 where to start... halo 3 came out a while before killzone 2 and runs on a different game engine..still looks just as good. halo reach is beautifull..so is killzone 3. uncharted would look exactlly the same if it were on the xbox..same for mgs4.heavy rain wasnt even a good game..i sold it the day i beat it. god of war 3 would look the same. portal 2 looks exactly the same on both consoles.360 also lasts a bit longer..my ps3 lasted about a year..xbox has lasted me about four years.
