I don't support abortion, but I do think it's better than having orphans all over the place, and some babies even end up in the oven. But abortions should be done LONG before the fetus can feel pain. If the fetus begins to look like a baby, it probably has a developed nervous system by then, and can feel pain, so at that point, abortion should be illegal.
Current medical science says that a fetus doesn't have the nessisary developed parts to feel pain until at least 22 weeks. Elective abortion is not legal at that time.

I said we need to educate our children in the class room and perhaps show them a film not just of abortion but ALSO a film on single mothers who have no money, lose their friends and family and their freedom. I think that showing our children these types of films will help more with keeping the amount of kids having kids down. I am not against abortion but people need to think twice before having sex!

And of course parents need to be involved as well not only the schools which I know of some parents who only rely on schools to educate their kids which I think is very lazy but yet I am sure those same parents won't mind being (young)grandparents

Exactly, well said. Of course this is a little overwhelming, I was 17 and had one done because of a condom breaking but that was because I knew if I had the baby there would have been no way I would have been able to love it and give the child what it needed. I have 2 children and one on the way now and these children I have now would never have what they have now. My partner is a biotechnologist, he has studied this topic extensively, at the average abortion time, the "child" is a cluster of cells resembling a bag of marbles, and is not at all even a fetus. No woman I know who's had an abortion considered her termination 'baby-killing.' I refer only to early (before 12 weeks) abortion.
If you believe that early abortions are baby murders and that sterility is sad, maybe you should question what the 'logic' of an all-knowing, all-powerful god is in these contexts.

Don't call them babies, they aren't. They're fetuses. Granted, pro choice people seem to think calling them fetuses makes it okay because they aren't babies, and therefor less human, but a fetus is the scientific name. Also, don't call it murder. Murder is a legal term. Since abortion is legal, it isn't murder. Just like killing in a war isn't murder, because it's legal. Still, just because it isn't murder doesn't make it less wrong.

I don't support abortion, but I do think it's better than having orphans all over the place, and some babies even end up in the oven. But abortions should be done LONG before the fetus can feel pain. If the fetus begins to look like a baby, it probably has a developed nervous system by then, and can feel pain, so at that point, abortion should be illegal.

Yes.
If they could show me that a fetus could think, feel pain, or is self-aware during the abortion period I would definatly be anti-abortion. But I have not seen anything that proves that.

Of course, but so is the egg and sperm cell before it, and grass, and tree's, and animals. But that doesn't stop us from ending their lives. I think... well I hate to say quality, but I think that the importance of life has to do more with HOW 'alive' it is. Can it think and feel? Is it self-aware, can it help or harm the world as it is now? Stuff like that.
Of course that's just my opinion.

I haven't seen you curse yet, but the bold font and name calling does make you seem a bit (forgive me for being rude) obnoxious. Of course that's only a first impression and I am new to the debate. So I haven't seen everything that's going on yet. But like I said, honey attracts more flies than vinegar.
