  • @sadlobster1 Again I completely agree with you. If only I could live a life like this..

  • it's cuz we're asian =p

  • If I could go to any place and time. This would be it. The nature is beyond anything.

  • @Speirs90 So would I, you can't find too much of the beauty feudal Japan had in today's world anymore. Now; the world is filled with so much concrete streets, unnecessarily tall buildings and dangerously fast cars.

Like Merlin said in the Sword in the Stone; the modern age is just "one, big, modern mess" of things. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm complaining but as a man born in the countryside of the U.S., I find the city to be dirty, too crowded and too noisy

  • @sadlobster1

I was born and live in the city. Still the calm and quite nature is what I really appreciate.

  • he man whose profession is arms should calm his mind and look into the depths of others. Doing so is likely the best of the martial arts.

  • Holy fuck, we got some smart philosophers filled with wisdoms in this video comment section. ferrucciog and TheUnitedForum should be youtube professor, and educate those muthafucking keyboard warrior kids who would act tough on the internet and throw useless insults at people online where they wouldnt say it in the persons face cuz they know they'd get their face rearranged.

  • The only and very loyal way to live is the way of the warrior

  • I think everyone loves japanese culture, I adore their everything food, music, films, etc. etc.

  • One way to learn about a different culture and people is to experience it.

  • interesting...but i HATE HATE HATE samurai

  • @bleachninjaiii why? samurai were one of the only people that had selflessservice as their religion.they d die in combat gladly always live with loyalty respect and honor.i have great admiration for them because they can put away their own needs for those of others.

  • @bleushift how do you know that for sure? These kinds of movies romanticize the idea of what it was really like to be a samurai.

  • @bleachninjaiii interesting...but WHY WHY WHY u hate samurai ??

  • You have an amerikan soldier whos fighting on the side or learning from the enemy of the OLD WAYS after losing a battle and men he trained. They paid him extra or he bided his pay check to do this since he was looked at as GOOD for his profession? I dont know I never seen the movie. Someone who uses guns and new style!!!

    No one caught onto this?

  • I love moments in cinema where a stranger in a foreign land recognizes the beauty and value of another culture, however different it may be. The story has been done many times, as we all know, but it is still inspiring, and if done right, makes me want to live among another culture and grow in my admiration and respect of it. If only all of us could grow to accept other cultures and the people in them in spite of our differences.

  • General Custer doesn't like this video :D

  • japan has shamelessly beautified their culture for foreign audiences, ignoring the fact that 90% of their culture is borrowed from Korea and China, while the rest is bloodthirsty and perverse. The katana, as with the concept of bushido, both originated in korea.

  • @japantruthify001

Who is lying here? I agree with China thing. Why Korea? Korea was Chinese slave.

Watch this vid. Interesting what comment are coming from your smelly mouth.

Endangered Japan: A Small Survey on the Conflict between Japan and Korea

  • @ohano2007

Thank you very much for explaining the true!!!

  • @japantruthify001

Don't you think ur comment lower korean value all over the world???!!!

ohano2007 from australia said the world true. Anyway We japanese never beautified our culture. We are proud of our culture, so we need not prattle on excitedly about our culture!!!

  • And how can I find my gift? I have no idea

  • @Nnovata - If you did not need money, what would you do? Outside of things taught within the society. Outside of partying, fornicating, and watching tv, what does your soul call for? You might have to go into your childhood, before society contaminated you through school, religion, and tv, to find what lit your heart and soul. You are already the gift, so there is nothing to learn. All you have to do is unlearn the crap this wold teaches for truth, and let you shine.

  • @TheUnitedForum do what you do and do it well. find something you can spend countless hours on, fail, and feel happy about the time you spent. find that, and youve found your gift

  • @TheUnitedForum beautifully said! Society is a virus!

  • @TheUnitedForum I couldn't have said it better myself, to behave with peace and honor is a skill not a trait. Which one cannot learn unless they understand the lessons behind it.

  • @TheUnitedForum well spoken true wisdom

  • @TheUnitedForum WOW, someone finally said it. Your words convey the truth that all enlightened beings tried to teach humans throughout the eons. yet they failed b/c of the ignorance that we possess in the name of 'social' bullshit.

  • @TheUnitedForum

Very well put, TheUnitedForum. Your words bring great clarity and wisdom.

  • @TheUnitedForum : Amen ! My friend

  • @TheUnitedForum

that was amazing. i try to tell people this everyday.

  • The whole samurai, the china, the japan, their discipline, zen was taught to them by a Tamil Saint Bodhidharma or Da mo from Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu.

  • He went from that to scientology..

  • Sadly not anymore, Japan is more about Kawaii, perversion, but still retain some aspects of honorable tradition as in quality - quantity and emphasizes in their jobs. The self-righteous Westerners as usual have to ruin everything.

  • Japan still have this?

  • EVER GREEN MOVIE ;)

  • Best scene in the movie.

  • Amazingly beautiful movie, oh lord, perfection to the fullest! Respect to Japan from Sweden, I love your country and I'll attempt to devote myself to the teachings of Bushido!

  • I lives in japan I speak the language fluently....I am brazilian and they are like the video says...Exactly and the samurai's spirit is still alive among the japanese nowadays...Read a book called bushido from Mr. itobei Nazo it brilliantly explains japanese soul and way of thinking.

  • this movie never gets old

  • "They are an intriguing people. From the moment they wake, they devote themselves to the perfection of whatever they pursue. I have never seen such discipline." - really true about japanese people! i am not japanese but i deeply admire their culture. maybe i was japanese in a previous life... who knows ...

  • @ferrucciog WAS their culture, things are alot different now squire, trust. From experience.

  • @ferrucciog It's called Taoism I think. A Buddhism school

  • @ferrucciog same, but not the modern japan..I only admire their tales of old times and their history. Not much remains nowadays..sad..

  • @ferrucciog ur gay

  • @ferrucciog The whole Samurai and bushido mentality was nice, but that was a long time ago. The Japanese society of late is degrading very fast, in part due to the current generation succeeding the baby boomers are lazy, undisciplined, and mostly without motive. Social Networking in unproductive direction and the whole hikikomori mentality is like a plague in current Japan.

  • I love this scene and the other one when he changes his mind on the samurai. This two scene shows how deep his the human mind and their feelings. Amazing movie.

  • @dragoonwarrior00 yea i i like these scenes but i cant find the other one

  • @brentbourjeoise the other one is when he changes his cloths and is living as a samurai and starts telling how his feels now that is part of the village and how much his live has change.

  • @dragoonwarrior00 yea i know wich scene your talking about, i just ment i couldnt find it on youtube, have you seen it on here ?

  • @brentbourjeoise No luck so far and it's a shame because it was a great scene also. I love this movie I have it and I don't get tire to watch it over and over =)
