Well it all depends in the tank you have. The best tank for it is a ten gallon and it really shouldnt be any bigger than that because they would get tired from going up and down to surface for air. :/ so also add tall ornaments so they rest in there from time to time and can breathe. C: in a ten gallon id say id put 6 of them c: and a betta
@Dimunic liess mine are in a 55g 19 inches of water there fine been in there for a while...i have 4 if they get tired they are fully capible of floating on the surface(dont put in deep water unless full grown) not hating on you so much as the fact that that fact is partailly false and being spread throughout the internet...a shame because they are wonderful members in a fw community tank.
