I am actually a little confused. When Y is greater than or equal to 25/4 why does why equal y=2.5

in the light on the board u cant see that y^2=25/4. the square root of 25/4 is 5/2 = 2.5.

this guy is rubbish at explaining things. im a maths teacher and i feel sorry for anyone trying to understand this guy. why maths teachers make things so dull and dry with the language they use is beyond me.
