Doo Wop group the Five Dollars recorded "How to do the bacon fat" but you wouldn't want to try it drunk or sober..better to just listen and appreciate the music..thanks for the upload not heard before..
@54Richie I'm surprised to hear that Richie.. I gathered you heard the Wavy Gravy compilations. Even though obscure, they were quite popular in UK in the 80s. Although I didn't hear the Five Dollar cut.. seems awfully interesting from what I read now^^
Well i have seen the wavy gravy comps mentioned many times especially on you tube..but no it's not something i came across at the time..but there again i had a young family,working full time and playing in one band or another..but as i'm obviously missing out i just gotta look that series up...
@54Richie Yeah I understand. its just impossible to come across every single thing. There are some things you just never get to check out, I think normal. But I would advise you to try and find it. Its pretty rare, as its a collectors item now. Its not your usual rock&roll type thing - its really obscure, but its definately alot of fun to listen to^^ If you can't find it on the web, I might figure a way to send it to you somehow.. all in all, happy hunting!
