You know what, most great chess players nowadays have 1 thing in common, a drink whenever they are playing, 7-up for this guy Orange Juice for Carlsen and Nakamura :)
Wow its nice to see a video like this, I just recently started playing chess and it has been mostly against computers and online, so I have never had an experience like this with spectators and laughing, having a good time while playing. Nice to see :)
While the kid is being rather obnoxious toward his opponent, at his age it is very normal if some parts of his brain are not fully developed, and you can't blame him. You must admit that he is brilliant at chess.
@GrandmasterJoel1273 Dude he's 10 years old. Did you expect him to be the most serious person in the world? Besides it was all in good humor and they were having fun.
Not to take anything away Sam's win, but 8.Bd3?? was a huge blunder by Greg, losing a pawn and the exchange. 13.d5? didn't help; it looks like it just drops a pawn.
Still, I can't play blitz for crap, so kudos. He'd probably beat me on my best day.
@GrandmasterJoel1273 Oh Come on! Is just a kid. Let's keep him enjoying the game. He is only 10! Who cares about the rules at that age? He is enjoying his childhood.
This kid is very very good, but it seems like he is plateauing. My advice is for his parents to put him in training for a year or two with someone like karpov who can have him train positionally. I love how he pounds the 7 up.
The guy could have taken the bishop in the opening for free when the kid missed it. I'm not sure whether they were playing the one touch rule because that was broken heaps of times. b.b
Luckily there are lots of other chess commentators here on YT with greats vids that are all free and done in their free time. Charity really? He can stick his every tenth video up his ass, fucking booo!!!
The kid was really knocking back the Sprite- every move a swig. Is it possible he was receiving secret messages from Topalov via a small radio in the can?
I guess it is not touch move

you can't be responsible for your self-image til you're about 16 so he gets the benefit of the doubt
you must learn self-deprecation
