...And this kind of purple shampoo is a UK product, so if you live in the US you'd have to order it online...BUT there are purple shampoos you can buy if you live in the US, here are some good ones: Clairol Shimmer Lights (good for getting a nice pale blonde) L'Oreal Expert Series Silver Shampoo (Good for getting a perfect Silvery/White color) AND One 'n Only Shiny Silver Ultra Conditioning Shampoo (Good all around) You can but these at a local Sallys or a hair salon

No, it does not work on black hair, let me give you some background :)

Purple Shampoo eliminates yellow/orange tones in blonde hair. If you wanted hair like his, you'd need to bleach your hair to a pale yellow color (the inside of a banana) THEN use purple shampoo religiously OR use a violet hair toner, and use purple shampoo 1-2 times a week.
