That was really entertaining. Thomas is constantly on tv in this house and to see another side of it was pretty refreshing. Depressing, but definitely well done. Gordon's usually such a douche in the series so I liked seeing him as the hero for a change of pace.

The ending to this is quite bitter-sweet; Alfred wanted to maim the railway and get revenge and he ultimately did; the only thing was he did not live to see it. In the end LNER moreless took over as Alfred presumably wanted.

@Chibbiekid It's generally accepted that 98462 was one of the 2 "other Engines" seen in the opening image of "Edwards Day Out", and that he is a B12. it could be that, as he was Blue in the original image, he changed his color and name to infiltrate Sodor, and changed his attitude so that Gordon and Edward, who would have known him from the old days, wouldn't recognize him.
