You take a piece, stretch it and fold it and stretch it and fold it. by each fold you double the pieces (10 folds = 2048 noodles). At each turn they are doube as much and haf as thick at the last turn, because of the stretching.
After 12 folds they will be as thin as an elefant-hair :) By the way, try to fold a sheet of paper more than 6 times. You can't. No matter how big the sheet is. Thats math and the noddle makers know it :)
