  • do you sell the pipes you make? if you do where could i buy them?

  • i like the style, not the common production i see everywhere!

  • Sweet tunes, cool glass.

    Cheers from Outback Aus.

    Dazza

  • I want to know what this song is.

  • ftw on the song

  • like this pipe!

i like to put gold/silver fumed implosions on the tip of some of my big inside/out spoons. looks really cool.

where have the vids been man??!?!!?

  • how much would it cost to get one of those torches?

  • @909InlandEmpire909 I think that torch would be about 500, but there are cheaper and more expensive versions with every brand. You could get a nortel minor for about 140, but then connections, fuel and glass costs money also.

  • what song is this???

  • Thats a damned good question... I want to know to!

  • props on all your work. rockin the midrange. portland rocks, mt baker wa here

  • Hey man this is probably a ridiculous question but obviously you know about glass and flames and all that stuff so if i were to attempt to melt a hole in a glass bottle, specifically the type of bottle that IZZE Fruit Drinks are held in, would i be able to do that with a household lighter that is used for say, melting sugar on top of a creme brule? My main worry is that the glass will shatter. Again this is probably a dumb question, but i might as well ask an expert!

  • My guess would be probably not, reasons being:

Those torches generally don't put out enough heat to make the glass workable

I'm pretty sure it will shatter when introduced to the flame. (borosilicate glass, like that above is formulated to take a lot of heat abuse without cracking) Drink bottle glass is not.

If it doesn't crack when you melt your hole, it will after it cools down if you have no way to anneal it.

just my $.02, but feel free to be bold and try.

  • hah thanks man, i bailed on the idea after i introduced the flame to the glass and a crack appeared...

  • You can drill a hole in the glass using a dremel tool and a tungsten carbide cutting bit (looks like a sharp cone). It takes a while and you have to go really slow. When the bit starts to glow, back off. Just chip away at it, or you'll dull the bit. Once you get the bit all the way through you can use it to bore out the hole.

  • btw, Led Zepp? Naw!

  • god...I love it when people act like jackasses...okay GTT are nice torches. However I like nortel. To say any torch is worthless is kind of ridiculous but so are you. Not everyone has a trust fund or mommy/daddy to buy them a GTT.

  • Amen, I use a national and am able to do inside out and color stacks and shit, use what you got, and utilize it! =D

  • @RKGlass Not everyone with a GTT is a smug rich child either.

  • @RKGlass It's also ridiculous to say every GTT owner is some kind of rich child.

  • good job uv inspired me to get a nortel mid range plus !! :D

  • piece came out great! thanks for the vids, theyre really well done, really inspirational

  • did you make these out of 25x4 cobalt?

  • The blue tubing is not frit...its good old china glass! woot woot! I do my share to support free trade and make sure little chinese children make a semi living working wage.

  • did you color a clear tube with blue frit to make the blue tubes?

  • What's enclamo?

  • the joining of two vessels

  • sick

  • Another great projet. Like the music too.
