I think this is great! I have a guide dog from a school, and she is wonderful, but I'm getting a new puppy on Nov. 7th to train as my new guide/service dog to be ready when my current dog retires. No school will train a dog to be both a service and guie dog unless I use a power wheelchair instead of a manual and loose the strength and independance I've worked so hard to get!
This is why I love animals, not only are they awesome but treat them right and they'll look after you.

I'm hoping to train my own diabetic alert dog. Wish me luck, LOL! I don't know how people live without their working companions some days!
