does this app look good with white bezzel? bec. some of my friends say that it distracts the user. but i think i wont change anything. what do you think? O.o
This is the best app for ipad hands down.Only 3 bucks. You feel like you ARE on the enterprise with the music it makes and the amount of useful information if you're studying stars as an amateur. And no you do not need to have wifi to use it. :)
Nope,I actually have this app it doesnt require internet!it is my favorite app i would die without this app....very helpful for u ''astronomy geeks''trust me it really does work and it provides a bunch of information too!!!!!!!:)
Can anyone tell how the motion thingy works on starwalk for the ipad when tilting upwards? It's just like on the iphone but the iphone obviously uses the gyro to do this...
Hey guys I am a fan. Of astronomy and I had a telescope but couldn't use it to see some real clusters or galaxies I were watching only moon venus mars and Jupiter so after using this app I think that it would be very easy to find anything. Find a star in the sky and find where you're pointing to in iPad and try from there to find what you want. Excellent app
i have a ipad in me home is boren,i don't like ipad who want take me ipad just call,0909820707 im there,and im in VIET NAM,or just sent e-mail for babyno_needyou58@yahoo.com thank ,just 15-7(is today) to 30-8 ok
wtf. This review omits the "augmented reality" feature...which honestly, as an amateur who just likes knowing what the constellations are, is almost the only feature I use, and is by far the coolest feature of the app. App review FAIL.
Dude! You skipped the best part about this app! You can hold it to the night sky like a piece of glass with labels around each star that's above your head. It's like adding an index to your real star gazing. I hope someone makes a more advance app for star gazers.
Great HD video. I was looking for a video on this app that shows the details and graphics of the app and this really shows how awesome it looks in person.

@h4x0y a ipad uses a gyro too!
DragonFlyMKW 9 months ago
@DragonFlyMKW @h4x0y There's no gyro on the 1st gen iPad only the second. The 1st gen uses the compass, the gps and the accelerometer.
