It's so sad that so many people are hating on Blake, saying how he'll maybe be a starter but never an All-Star. Horse shit. As talented as he is and as hard as he works, he should approximate to basically Elton Brand minus the knee problems. All bigs are raw at that stage. Hakeem was raw, Shaq was raw, etc. Give him time to develop a dependable jumper and he'll be a force.

I actually think he is more technically proficient then most players who go from college to the nba. I don't see him staying in the center position in the nba, I think he'll model his playing style after dirk or turgoklu and less like howard/bosh/garnett. He's a big man who has fairly good handles and can run the floor very well as well as tremendous athleticism. I would be surprised if he doesn't not become a rookie of the year candidate.

He reminds me a lot of Amare with his power and athleticism for his size, not as strong in the post with his back to the basket but has better dribbling skills.

It's the opposite. Blake is bigger and stronger than Amare. Amare's game is turn and face, not post moves. Blake can face up, but he has a nice post game that he'll develop at the next level. Griffin is more of a true 4 than Amare.

he's nasty... got some ups too. alot of tall guys dunk (but barely) just because of their ht. but then there are those big men that have hops and play well above the rim. when ur getting forearms & elbows above the rim, thats some serious hops no matter how tall u are.
