  • In the description you called the steel 14C28N,just saying I think you made a mistake

  • PIKACHU!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.< sorry forgive me...

  • if only the harley davidson wasnt on the blade i'd have one now.

  • I HATE how benchmade copies the spyder holes. even sog started doing it damn. byrd knives are wayy better.

  • @sleek555 Amen!

  • @CutleryNovice any knife that has a hole mimicking spyderco i will never buy unless its a spyderco smh

  • @sleek555 I'm with you there bro!

  • isn't this knife just a cheap version of the Benchmade AFCK? that was long ago discontinued

  • @osugoodolboy33 its a red class benchmade, benchmades answer to the byrd line by spyderco (notice the hole that copies spyderco)

  • @sleek555 if you look up the AFCK by benchmade (which was originally produced over a decade ago) it looks exactly the same but just manufactured cheaper... and yes the AFCK has the spyder hole which was the first benchmade that ever had one (yes they paid spyderco to use the design) . The AFCK was designed by a former navy seal that made it with Spyderco in mind, but they passed on the design. Benchmade did not and ended up producing it. The designer wanted the spyder hole

  • @osugoodolboy33 gotcha. im just not feeling this design.

  • @sleek555 yeah me either... cheaply constructed... glad they did away with their red class

  • @osugoodolboy33 i like the monochrome and the mini ambush, i really wanna get the mini ambush its hard to find though. the red class has changed to H&K and the designs are basically the same. lol

  • I got one just today, and yeah, I had fold it right on my finger too =)

  • it is pikachu not pinkachu

  • Once again dip shit, it's not the spring! loosen the screw holding the lock bar!!!! Mine is Superior to my Byrd knives in just about every aspect!

  • Pikachu uses bite! It's super effective!

  • @CutleryNovice you idiot don't teach it bite breed it to have volt tackle GOD!!!

  • @ikeehw LMFAO!!!

  • Hey guys one warning on this pika knife is that the clip is too weak. It snagged on something in EDC and totally bent out. It needs a new pocket clip now.

  • @gerberboy0100 take it off and bend it back, even awesome pocket clips bend, ive bent the clip on my SOG trident and bent it back 2 times.

  • Where do u come up with pinkachu i thought it was just pikachu.

  • Pika is bad knife! Its always fold when Im squeeze it.

  • My friend just got his and his is 666/1000,he loves it!

Getting me a mini version of this for me.

  • Why are you calling it a Pinkachu when you mean Pikachu? Pikachu comes from the word Pika anyway.

  • This Pika 2 vs G10 Cara Cara?

  • I wish they made the Pika G10 in the US; I'd be much more interested. I don't like it when companies like Benchmade, that have tons of production capability in the US, farm out their knives overseas. I mean come on, the Pika G10 is pretty expensive for an overseas blade, if Kershaw can make knives in the US with great quality, why can't Benchmade?

  • I just got a mini pika 2 with titanium scales and it's the sharpest out of the box knife I have ever had. Even sharper than my spyderco sage 1 in s30v blade steel.

  • If you havn't already, I'd leave the jimping alone, as the knife is more collectable than the original pika II.

  • man my pika 2 was and IS amazing RAZOR ( could cut a suspended piece a paper) sharp outta the box quick deploy all awesome and just around 30 bucks or so a bass pro shops lol

  • Comment removed

  • for real? that is what you have to say really you couldnt come up with anything constructive or valid just "you suck" wow did you go back to 7th grade for that or did you comr up with that on the fly? lol :)

  • (applause) way to go aint you a big boy lol im so proud :) and your use of ''fuck'' is quite impressive too i am truly in the presents of greatness a true master of words im truly humbled lol yeah right

  • Hurakene09 - ok little guy, you're done here. Bedtime and lights out. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy what he say

  • To me, the jimping with the dremal looks great.

  • I would totally leave the jimping alone on the G10 version, especially on a Harley-Davidson edition knife... I mean, isn't the point of a H-D version the collectability? I know a knife should be useful, but still...

  • Pocket Clip: raised screws on the Pika 2 snag my pocket and make it difficult to remove. The screws on the Pika G10 look better.

  • Comment removed

  • totally fix the jimping.

  • I like your jimping mod. because it's functional and looks cool too!

  • "funkiness"

  • Thanks for the review. Most interesting.

I wonder how would you compare the G-10 Pika with the G-10 Cara-Cara from Byrd?

  • that knife is so pretty damn!

  • Great vids thank you. Little off point but do you know what happened to wranglerbarn?

  • We miss wrangler. He had a video up for a little while that explained that his family came first and he found that the videos were taking away from them. Plus they had a huge move coming up and he wanted to give his time to that. Aside from that, he was trolled pretty heavily by the creeps that skirt around the edges of the guns and knife community here on YouTube and it had to be enormously stressful. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Don't Be Ignorant. What Corporate America is doing is not China's fault, or India's fault..It's all about corporatocracy!!

    Great Review!

  • You're a breath of fresh air in todays highly judgmental world. I'm part chinese and it pisses me off when someone does a review and says "Made in China". Then every 'patriotic' American rolls in screaming 'Phuck China'. But never stop to think who built those factories in china, who sent the jobs over there, whose funding them. The chinese aren't funding themselves nor are they knocking on American doors wtih a gun in their hand demanding their jobs.

  • I'll keep my old US made Bench Mades' and my Chris Reeves. None of this foreign made stuff any more. Next they will be selling the BM knives in Wal Mart.

  • Pokemonz!

    xD LoL

Any chance of getting a review on a non folder

The 5.11 sidekick bootknife would look pretty nice in my xprt tactical boots :) thx

  • the fact that a " Harley Davidson" knife is made in China just kills it. I mean Harley Davidsons are made in the USA so should the knife.

  • I boycott products from screwed up countries. I'll never buy anything from a country that doesn't have democracy and doesn't respect basic human rights such as freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc. Period. No comprimises from me on that ever. I will buy products from outside the U.S. however like from Germany and Switzerland and whatnot since they respect human freedom and dignity.

  • It's not a Benchmade if it's not made in the U.S.A!

  • @ZeroToleranceKnives Very true

  • @ZeroToleranceKnives You know what dude, thats not completely true. Just watch some of his other videos. Even he says that it doesn't matter where its made. It's all about quality control, and Benchmade, as we know is just fucking awesome with making sure that their knifes are top notch.

  • I am not chinese. And you are just a stupid racist rednack.

  • Comment removed

  • @ootdega you say you hate patriots huh?you say they judge too quickly?Well you're judging Nutnfancy before you even know him. Thats ignorant and it's childish. That gets to IQ. Do you know there are people in this world with IQ's of 140 and higher. By the way, where the hell does racist come from. You also state to not bother replying. This is because you're scared of what people will say, and how they'll walk all over you like how I'm doing. Grow-up kid and stop talking about shit you dont know

  • See the "@TaskForceSixTwoSix" at the beginning of that comment? That was who I was talking to. Look who's talking about shit they don't know.

I have no problem with normal enthusiastic patriots. I am one. But TaskForceSixTwoSix is a Yankee (Forgive my original mistake). Insulting that guy for no fucking reason just because he's Chinese.

And yes, I do know that people's IQ goes that high. My IQ is 150, so yeah. Thanks for that.

By the way, I actually couldn't care less what people will say.

  • Too late. You already applied for the job, as chief jackass who calls others racial names ( redneck ) and fends justice within your own corner of your small world. One day the wolf shall come for you, and then you'll look for your justice. Not to worry, I'll be there to save your opinion with my Glock 17.

Who do you think gave the the right to say what you are saying, fool? It was someone with a GUN, butt hole. Evil lives and it need to checked. Maybe by you? HA! Good luck!

  • You can use lubrication to loosen it up.

  • I'm rejoicing about the option to carry this blade tip up.lol

  • Look at the "China" etched on the blade. Nuff said.

  • I agree I'm tired of good jobs be sent over to China.

  • Amen! Im not sure why I would have 2 poor comment votes for that. Seems like anyone that knows craftsmanship, or even prefers good craftsmanship, would jump right in on that comment. What happened to "Buy American". I guess that died in the early 80's.

  • The problem is YT lacks an agree/disagree control, independent of the good/bad post control. When ppl wish to voice an objection to what one says they may post a full comment (more risky since you might get blasted) or pour some anonymous hate on them by giving them thumbs down. The system is imperfect.

Tried to dig you up a bit, brother, but the zombies just keep coming ^^ (no offense guys)

  • Thanks dude. I used to just skip comments on here, but it is fun, sometimes, to see what will come of a comment....inteligent or otherwise. Sometimes I can feel the HATE emmitting from the screen. Thanks again.

  • You know, they have a special room for people who like both knives and pokemon.

  • Hello Nutnfancy & team (hey Veri!)

Thanks for the latest video on the Pika II. I would put money down that manufactures watch your videos, it would be silly of them not to. I have the original model and wish I watched your review prior to purchasing... Im a new T&P FAN and I dig your vids!

Great job TNP & Team! I wonder if Kershaw will send me a new Pika G10 if I send the old one backLOL

Rock on T&P and stay safe,

    SD4

  • SD4Fun, thanks so much, we dig your input! -- Veri

  • how do you get pikachu on a bus ?

    pokem'on

    sorry couldn't resist it

  • why dont u shower with a pokemon in the house? It might Pikat chu!

  • *groan* :D -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Hey it might mess up the looks a tad bit but hey if you are carrying it and pull it out in a defensive role and you didnt do the jimping work and stab some dude with it and your hand doesnt lock in or you shank him and it stays in him, that would just suck and so if you just are going to use it for EDC and will have another blade on you then well it wont matter but i always like my knives to be finctional in all roles even if it doesnt look the best!

  • the new pica reminds me alot of the AFCK.

  • Nay. Thou art false. There has nevar been nor shal evar be another design like the 806 AFCK ^^

  • These blades all made in China now?

  • all Benchmade red class.

Wouldn't worry about it - QC is good.

  • Collector's piece Nutn. Don't molest it.

  • Dude, I'm thinking you should jimp it. sure its a collectors edition knife, but why not make it functional as well? You don't lose any asthetics by doing so.

  • Comment removed

  • Hmmmm, collectors edition leave it as it is!! (my take)

  • Jimp it, why not? It looks better with your custom jimping anyways.

  • I wouldn't take the dremel to it. It makes sense on the Pika II because its a much cheaper knife, but that G10 is more expensive, not to mention the fact that its a first run item. Just my 2 cents. Love the reviews, keep em commin.

  • I'm like you, Avitus, leave it alone. He's got umpteen knives to use instead, and this one will probably stay in the box.. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Anyone have an opinion on Damascus Steel for an EDC knife. It has a certain "cool" facter due to it's look. I've had no rust problem with mine (I don't go swimming w/it). I do wash it off w/soap an water if I'm using it to eat with, and then give it a very light coat of olive oil. It was advertised as being very strong (for prying, etc) Never seen one reviewed on you tube.

  • Dunno man. If I wanted a spyderco design knife, I'd buy a spyderco. That's just my 2 cents.

  • Excellent review as always!

  • @soccercwazy someof these knives are upwards of 100 dollars, and even if tis not, your still trying to get your bang for your buck.

  • THIS IS SPARTAAAA!

*kicks soccerwazzy below -5 so his trolling effort falls into the deep, dark pit of YouTube's bitbucket and is never seen again*

    We care!

  • We care, the people watching this video are probably all knife lovers or users so we want to get the best for what we paid for.

  • Holy sh*t, the guy is like -16 now! Did anyone get a crit on him or what? ^^

  • Lol dude you know what? I like the way you always sound happy in your reviews, unlike a lot of bitter douches out there.

I always have a laugh while watching your reviews because you're a pretty entertaining narrator. Good job man and good reviews.

You helped me while I was trying to decide what to buy for my first ever knife and I went with a Buck thanks, in a big way, to your reviews of Buck knives.

Good luck and keep it up.

  • That's the truth, the whole truth, and Nutn but truth ^^ One does always prefer the cheerful guy in videos/podcasts/what not (with a coupla notable exceptions like John C Dvorak) to a grouch. That might be the reason why Nutn's vids are so empowering and inspiring.

  • the best pocket clip ive ever seen is the one on the SOG Aegis. Its strong, sits deep, and is relatively low porfile if you get the blackened versions.

  • Haha I just watched the Onion on kids getting "stoked", now NUTNFANCY is stoked! lol TNP!!!

  • how much is the g10??

  • I think your jimping looks better than any factory that I have seen. Go ahead and take the Dremil tool to it.

  • I got a Benchmade model 51. awsome knife, but the edge was really wierd. it was like it had a curl on both sides. after inspecting it I think what happened was they put the knife on a coarse stone to get a rough edge and then took the curl off and left it. oh well, it was fairly easy to get a very keen edge on it with a whetstone. A friend also ordered a model 10502 and it had the same thing.

  • when i saw the knife in the vid like the 1t 2 seconds i thought it was a spyderco delica 4 xD

  • I would leave the jimping alone since its a first production.

  • Pinkachu? Sounds like a pokemon...hahaha....looks like a very light knife.

  • totally understand why you wear gloves somtimes. It looks like you work in a straight edge razor blade factory :) lol

  • Jimp it!

  • Awesome video Nuttn! I would recommend jimping that knife. After all, what good is a knife if it's not functional?

  • That clip is a piece of junk. The one on my Pika 2 bent within taking in and out of the pocket a few times. It's about as fuctional as a paperclip. Nice review Nutn!

  • My Spyderco Centofante 4 did that. Had the knife less than a week, and it broke. And they want $20 to fix it. I don't think so. lol. Kershaw's pocket clips are free. lol.

  • Part of the lockback is made of cheap plastic. I took it apart then upon putting it back together that piece of crap plastic piece which was a functional part of the locking system broke with little stress put on it. I'll never buy another Benchmade because of my experience. The fact that they allowed a piece of plastic as part of the locking system is ridiculous, like the pricing on their knives.

  • buy another one to dremel this ones limited production so i wouldnt mess with it.

  • I vote for taking the Dremel to that jimping. I did on my Kershaw od-1 It didn't have any at all. It does now.

  • I choose you....PINKACHU!!

  • There is also 10Cr17 which is a step up from 9Cr, just letting you know. The only knife I have seen using it are the Ken Warner Knives.

  • Benchmade's marketing person must be a pokemon fan

  • I bought a byrd cara cara from yourcornerstore and was amazed at the quality !

  • Dremelize that blade!

Good review, but once again, too long!

  • dremelization can't hurt u ^^

  • Great video! I like the newer jimping you put on the knife. Do it!

  • That knife was made for fitzen.

  • just wondering i lost my spyderco tenacious so should i go for another one of those or this pika g10

  • Why do they put that little choil in the blade at the base on an EDC knife? I can understand that on a large survival knife that you are trying to choke up on, but I hate it on folding pocket knives because when you are trying to cut rope especially nylon rope the individual strands get stuck in that choil and the rope won't slide on the blade because it gets caught. I would like the cutting edge of the blade to go all the way to the base.

  • dont gimp it. its first production. you have plenty of other knives for EDC, it'll retain its second kind of cool through it being first production.

  • jimp the hell out of it : )

  • Why not just buy the byrd Cara Cara... I have to get one of these newer Cara Cara, the supposedly lighter than the one I have which is an original series Cara Cara, without any drilled out liners and is quite heavy for it size but it definitely more rugged than my Centofante 3.

  • I wouldn't Jimp it just because it is a first production.

  • jimp it!!!

  • the knife is called a pika II so shouldn't it be pikachu instead of piNkachu? lol

  • Personaly I don't like jimping I'd rather have double guards. but i think you should jimp it a useful knife is better than a pretty one.-Joshua

  • Dremel that sucker :) Function > Form, and besides, you have to look up close to see the difference anyway.

  • lol Alot of spyderco influences here...

Diggin the G10 model with the high grind.

  • Dremel it.

  • Function over Form!

  • Jimp it!

  • you should draw up a blade shape and make a list of everything nutnfancy would want in a knife. I think that one of the top knife companies would hop on that idea and call it the nutnfancy edition haha. It would sell no problem

  • you can't have everything you want in a knife. nutnfancy said that. different knives for different purposes.

  • About the Gimping,

1 day i was handing down my iPhone

to an older person, and here where i leave its not servicable, so if it fall i gotta sheep it to the states.

so then iwas handing it over i warned him its "slipery" hold it tight, & than i started to LMAO...

b/c i was thinking to myself "damn that apple, couldn't they have made some gimping on

the sides of the damn thing...

    :)

  • Hahaha! -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Stoked, he is.

  • nice detailed review

  • I guess the jimping would become (more) functional even if you didn't go so deep as the first model. A happy medium.

I'm carrying the Byrd Cara Cara for 5 months now. Its blade is a little thick for EDC (it will break the slice you cut off an apple), but otherwise very nice.

  • Take the dremal to it. I would.

  • Sometimes for safety I like it when the blade is a little hard to get out. Its one of the things I like to try before I buy.

  • CUT IT, form follows function

  • "Funky for the sake of Funkiness" lmao

  • whats up with ycs?? no more benchmades or HKs??

  • Take the dremel to it, make it to how you like it.

  • awesome video nutnfancy and veri keep up the great work

  • Fancy meeting you here. Pun intended. Thanks steven. =) -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • Llllllet's get ready to DREMEL!

  • dremel it

  • did it come with a pokeball lol

  • Thanks for the update with the new Pika II knife. I'm sure knife manufactures watch your reviews- you know your stuff and you're the voice of the EDC guy/girl. I have the original Pika II and I wish I watched your review before I bought it... I would say dremel it and get a more functional and aggressive jimping on it. Nice looking knife and great improvements! Not a fan of Harley but the logo on the blade isn't as atrocious as the box LOL! Great job Nutnfancy! Happy Holidays and stay safe!!!

  • use the dremel, makes the spine look more aggressive

  • Don't dremel it, it's probably going to be a collectible for you - I wouldn't be carrying it around since I have good alternatives. It's a first production Harley Davidson collectible.

I'm glad you have standardized folding knife talking points again (just as an outline for reference)

  • I would definitly put the dremel to it. I like it to be functional.

  • Pinkachu bites! LOL

  • Good review! 5*****

  • *waves* -- Veri

  • Haha, I gave a mini Pika II to my sis for her birthday two years ago. She really likes the knife and carries it like 24/7 - can you say more? A total WIN.

It sounds it is time for an upgraded one ^^

    Thanks for the review Nutn.

    Keep the ratings coming guys - let's try to keep'em at 5.0, k? :D

  • Both are made in China and equally suck.

Do a review on Anza blades.

  • I assure you, my good man, the blades suck not ^^

  • Do you know they ripped off the name from a Japanese cartoon character?

  • i think that was the point of him laughing a little...

  • I'd fix the jimping with a Dremel on the new G10 as well. A knife should be functional so adding jimping would make it better.

Awesome review as always, Nutnfancy!!! Keep em coming!

  • jimp the knife nutn

  • great vid

  • *funky for the sake of funkiness* lol love it!! as always, great job brother.

    1SG.Patterson,1st.(SFOD-D) 20th.SFG

  • Operational Detachment-Delta? Impressive credentials, friend. Former USMC 2nd Reconnaissance myself. Granted that was a long time ago.

  • got enough blades there nutn ?

  • Wow 3 folding knife vids in 2 days! Excellent work Nutnfancy. Thanks for all you do, Merry Christmas!
