Stargate is a funny game because with the added inviso button and warp feature it makes you believe that its easier then Defender. But as anyone that plays Stargate knows the games turns up the heat and becomes a lot more difficult then Defender.
This was an extremely tough game for a beginner, but if you played enough times (like me) you could master it. But what's not commonly known is that the game had 99 difficulty levels, which could be adjusted by the game owner. Believe me, nobody was scoring a million points at difficulty level 99. Most arcade owners were too stupid to realize this, and would complain when I would play for a couple of hours on one quarter. I wasn't about to tell them to read the game manual!
