When it comes to japan drifting, They act like their cars are go-karts and they go all out , which i why i believe they are so much better. They aren't scared to put everything they go into their drift, unlike Formula D :\

just because you drift on the street doesn't make you DK. even though he is Japanese, his technique is still very formula drift. i personally wouldn't consider dai's skill level anywhere near on par with the likes of nakamura.
