President-elect Obama won because he DISAGREED with the rhetoric of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and did not follow their style. Barack Obama has truly brought the races together instead of dividing them with the rancor of Jackson, Sharpton, & others. With INFORMED intelligence, PERSONAL MORALITY, and dignified LEADERSHIP, Obama has won the hearts of many across the board and will lead our nation to fulfill Dr. King's true legacy. The era of Jackson & Sharpton is hopefully OVER.

Well said punchers - although I think it's going to be unity for more than just one night. I think Jesse learned something - Obama, a man that promoted unity instead of division won the presidency. Eventhough Jesse's not going to admit he was wrong I hope Jesse changes his tone at least a little bit after today :p
