@sealalula Nope, they're PW4000. As I remember, one of airline using the A330 with Trent 700 is Garuda Indonesia. There are others but that's the furthest I can think of :-). The Trent 700's shape is like the RB-211 on 747 and 757, while the PW4000 for A330 looks like GE CF6-80 on 747 and 767. And personally, I like the PW4000 more than Trent 700 for A330.
@mickfs2004 Uhm seating issues won't make this A330 use RR Trents rather than the PW4000... LOL, no, but seriously... I don't know what you're referring to by A330s in France with seating issues...
@EmadIV i was referring TG was supposed to get more new A330-343X but the Company for PTV's are making it delayed delivery to the fleet because of safety reasons
@EmadIV but because the manufacturing company Koito Industries making delays for deliveries to Thai Airways but i do love the A330's even with PW Engines
the turning is very slow

At 1:00 did he really stop mid-turn?? How about some thrust lever action on #1 please, lol. Are those RR Trents?? They sound so yummy!

mickfs2004 1 year ago
@mickfs2004 I think those are RR because Thai have their own RR maintenance centre at Don Muang
yuv06 1 year ago
no, the newer A330's in Thai Fleet has RR's and the older A330's (HS-TED) has PW4000

@mickfs2004 Thanks for the info what about the 330 stuck in France with the seat issue are they using RR?
yuv06 1 year ago

@mickfs2004 Wrong. PW4164 as evident by the engine sound as well as the registration.

@mickfs2004 A bit clearer. I agree, the A330 is an excellent aircraft with a very quiet cabin, but the PW engines are just slightly annoying.
EmadIV 4 weeks ago
Awesome! The A330 seems to climb faster then any other commercial aircraft, other then the 757.

@dave4shmups Agree, it feels extremely powerful on takeoff as well!
