  • look so stupid that anyone would think that they had lost thier senses

  • i agree with shirozarusama troodons are the smartest.

although dinosaurs wouldnt scream thier heads off cause they

would waste to much energy and attract other dinosaurs which might

be bigger than them. they would also scare away thier prey, so in the end

they would not scream like a tasmainian devil. they would be as quite as mice.

where did all this start? well it started with steven spielberg. that idiot wouldnt know the first thing about dinosaurs and in jurassic park, he made them...

  • i always thought his name was little dash xDD

  • @Illiasc they are edmontosaurs i think

  • Wow they made Maiasauras look UGLY.

  • Little Das is awesome!

  • I regret to say to anyone with concerns that i did post the remaining parts for das hunt and pod's travels but discovery channel removed because of copyright :(

i'm sorry if this caused any inconvience for u guys

  • @raptor236 Luckily youtube shows up part 2 on the side and it's uploaded by some dude called Faisalindustry164u8

  • Normally, Troodons are the most intelligent dinosaurs ever known, however in this movie, they don't act very smart. That troodon just got pwded on 6:07, and eventually leading to the other two getting pwned later on! X3 They may be smart, but not smart enough!

  • @Shirozarusama arent velociraptors the smartests?

  • 50 ft long Tylosaurus (Mosasaur). 25 meter Liopleurodon (Pliosaurs) Marine reptiles are AWESOME XD.

  • oh cool were having fried dinosaur

  • i love this show.

  • Walk away from the heard and let EVERYONE know about it ;)

  • @pupgirl171 woops wrong time its at 6:47 that he takes an arbourne dive to the ground by a gyser. ROFL XD

  • its weird how they actually introduce little das after 9 minutes into the episode

  • my 3 most favorite dinos: Mapusaurus, Giganotosaurus and Charcarodontosaurus.

Number 1: Charcarodontosaurus, because its the biggest.

  • i love giganotosaurus

  • god i love dino show thx put more up if u find ay more p s the t rax kick ass

  • Awsome! I've been looking for this episode. The eruption of the Caldera is fantastic!

  • ya and where are the snakes from the reptiles??

  • 6:49- 7:06 is like in the ice age movie.

  • DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY.

  • The point of this series is to demonstrate dinosaur behaviour, not to showcase the prehistoric foliage.

  • sweet

  • ahhh my family nice ther was my brother an sister ;O)

al died but not all there are manny difrend dragons in this moment on the way...

    from germany a dragon ;O)

  • The pterosaurs are not up to date. They were definitely warm blooded, capable of powered flight, and covered in fur (pycnofibers I think they call them). Some of this info might not have been available when the TV show was done, but most would have been. While I like the fact that they have updated the dinos to match recent discoveries, it is sad to see pterosaurs lagging behind so much. They were such cool animals too.

  • 06:45

"Huh? What the hell is th-" "WHOOOSHH!"

    lmfao xD

  • @JackDJones listen to 07:05

  • @remembertoflosj

    hmm? Why?

  • fail: the video shows grasslands, but in the Cretaceous grass was still very rare, or even actually absent.

  • @aengor

I was just about to mention that. Prehistoric Park and Walking With Dinosaurs did a pretty good job of keeping the plants accurate, but this video sucks at it.

  • I personally prefer the Dromaeosauridae family. I like: Deinonychus, Utahraptor, Velociraptor and Dromaeosaurus:) But having said that I do like Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Albertosaurus, Carcharadontosaurus and Cryolophosaurus. LOL all predators:P

  • @HarrierGforce me too!!!!!!! we should form a club

  • @paleobc65 hahaha that would be awesome like some sort of protest against T-Rex x

  • @HarrierGforce true, true

  • @HarrierGforce My favorites are Spinosaurus and Deinonychus. I hate T-Rex.

  • @Peenut2k7 LOL I love Spinosaurus he is awesomes:P

  • @HarrierGforce we should make a facebook page !!!! lol jk

  • The dinosaur at 02:48 look like Leeyanasaura

  • in fact, it's a relative.

  • @Fullmetalminos

Have the Leeyanasaura relative any name?

  • Orodromeus.

  • Time:73 Million years ago

    Narrator:75 million years ago

    PREHISTORIC FAIL XD

  • @superjamesbros2 if i were narrator i would probably fail like that. The thing that surprises me is that when they were editing the program why the hell did they not pick up on that??? x

  • this show is good for learning but not for watching cause its boring and the dinosaurs roas and moves are gay

  • agreed they roars and moves are funny.

  • @thenightstalker8421 agreed again:P Walking with Dinosaurs was a much better program one of the best. The DInosaurs were very realistic and the roars could be quite momentus sometimes:) x

  • plz in spanish

  • This show was OK at best. 2 of the episodes out 4 are based around 2 types of raptors. They couldnt come up with another dinosaur to base a story on. Oh and the aucasaurus and the tarascosaurus look exactly the same just different colors. Theres also a part where a paleontologist says that most think that tyrannosaurs such as daspletosaurus, was a slow runner or a walker. And then they go and cut to show them running. What the f... whatever keep up the bad work dinosaur planet.

  • No one asked for your opinion.

It's a television show. Enjoy it for what it is and stop being so damn critical!

  • @Melacollina people are allowed to have their opinion. As long as its not violent or unreasonable then thats fine. People have to be critical, its the way we are, this does not even come close to Walking with Dinosaurs in fairness. However it did shed some light on things i didnt know. But yes you are also correct that people should stop being so critical but they are entitled to thier opinion as are you:) x

  • cool

  • this is cool!!!

by cool i mean (awsome graphics)

    HOW MANY ARE THERE?

  • when is dinosaur planet going back to discovery channel

  • i think that it was ment to be like a 5 day series of episodes. but if they find more scientific stuff they might come back

  • iight thx

  • This Serie was problably projected on Discovery Planet France but i never saw it, so I i watched it in English. It's amazing, and so realistic. My english is quite average but i understood nearly all. Christian Slater speaks very clearly. Do you know if there will be more episodes ? (others are : White Tip Journey; Alpha's Egg and Pod's travel)

    Many thanks and regards.

  • my second fav tyrannosuar is nanotrannus

  • My second favorite tyrannosaur is albertasaurus

  • little das is like a nanotyrannus, roflmao

  • @14dixonj

    little das fails >8D

  • gotta love the dinos

  • those dinours at 8:47 look like its got a horse foot on its mouth.

  • no one told me that christian slater was the narrater lol

  • see i make long words up too! ichterodriumdennisrodmanisurloverasaurus!

  • pulento

  • :) :) :) :)

  • When are you going to add more

  • I remember this I was 11 years old when they did the Dinosaur planet. Not bad I have one of the dvds.

  • ADD MORE dont call it part one if you arent going to add more

  • yeah!!!lol

  • I got this on DVD

  • wth ? What evidence suggests that a Troodon hunted like that, infact how could it survive till the extinction with adaption skills like that ? to be honest, it probably hunted mammals using packwork at night and maybe scavenged and caught insects by day. well thats my theory. im just really bored xD

  • I think that's a good theory. hey, with your theory on Troodon and your other dinosaur theories, why don't you make a book about them?

  • If you were replying to my old account heavym3talluffy, i've done alot of study on Troodon and it seems alot of people agree it was mainly herbivirous, that really dissapointed me. However i think it still would have lived on a diet of insects, mammals and maybe even corpses and eggs.

  • i say it still might have hunted other animals, but your idea may be a good one.

  • I disagree though, its toes were probably only strong enough to hold down something small, and because it is a member of the miniraptoridae family its apparent main weapon- the claw on its foot would have had no use. besides, its teeth and jaws were used for crusing small things. Not designed for killing other Dinosaurs.

  • i guess that's a theory.

  • Yeah, but i study how Dinosaurs would have worked and acted around eachother alot, and this is a really unrealistic documentary (no offense)

  • actully no. read the novel Raptor Red, written by Robert Bakker who was a great paleontologists. his novel shows tha tin order to live, animals need social bonds. they can be very strong bonds, just not as strong as humans can be. the nove shows that even a top predator can have a hard life.

  • I beleive thats pretty exageratted. An animal has to be extremely advanced to show compassion, and probably the first animals to acheive that were our ancestors. Animals less advanced show pain or are confused because if they are social someone goes missing or stops being there - e.g. when packmates die is basically not as advanced as emotion. but i suppose you could call that compassion....

  • They do need social bonds. raptors were th eonly animals at the time to feel extreme social bonds. it may not be as strong as a human or whale, but strong enough to show true teamwork. not all dinosaurs had bonds, but the intelligent ones like raptors had them and could form family bonds with siblings. Int he Novel, when the female lost he rmate and only packmember, she stayed by the body and protected it. she had been with him for so long that she didnt leave him for two days, but soon left.

  • Dinosaurs brains have been studied and are highly speculted to be based on instinc. Bonds can be strong e.g. mother to child but they contain no emotion.

  • not human like emotion, no. they can though, feel a few bits of sad and pain, but not be able to express it. Brother and sister along with mates when it comes to the intelligent species can be strong for their kind. they know they cannot live without a pack.

  • @AwesomeussRex they were reptiles as well. Plus they were prehistoric ones and reptiles today are still based on insinct so why would dinosaurs be:/ they also work only by thier reptilian brain:/ but still maybe the more intelligent species such as Troodon were wiped out so we are left with the less intelligent ones that make up the Genus today:) x

  • What was the range that they were on?

  • My favourite dinosaurs are Daspletosaurus and Charcharodontosaurus

upload the other dinosaur planet`s episodes where are they

  • "A little wet"? Now there's an underestimation if there ever was any!

  • Can you please upload part 2 thank you:)

  • I remember this few years ago, when I was little I watch every four dinosaur plant shows.

  • OMG what a place for it to end. Wheres part 2?

  • dont you pay attention to these? More!

  • where da hell is other parts lmao

  • please add more already!

  • lol yes crazy xD

  • I remember this series. It was on TV a few years ago. The animals look alright, but the stories are VERY unreal compared to Walking With Dinosaurs.

Still I did like watching it. Especially the Prenocephale from the first episode.

  • is there only one part to little das hunt? i'd like to see the rest

  • u should make a prt2 pllllzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!

  • part 2 might have been a good idea

  • HAAAAA you stoped at the worst spot when it was getting good

  • are you a idiot its troodon not trodon well unles your from usa where they spell things rong lol

  • lol yeah ppl here cant spell anything right

  • where can i find the full episode?

  • lol the trodon was lyk, "hey wat's that?" *BOOM!* *hits ground* "ow"

  • lol...the way the dinosaur got blown up...that was funny....it was like...bam in ur face bi-otch...lool..

  • Could you get parts 2,3 ect for this one first coz i haven't seen it on t.v

  • big fail= GRASS! there was no grass at that time, they lived 65 milion years ago, grass came 30 milion years ago

  • ur such a dumb ass have you heard of the food web? im not going to even explain!!!

  • what are you talking about?

  • @BFTurk hahaha true i only just noticed:P what a failure:P x

  • Ask me too about dinosaurs i know a lot about dinosaurs too

  • GOOD VIDEO.

  • enough science talk ,i have seen all episodes of dinosaur planet inculding this ,whats bad is they last part was ammazing but it wasn't shown.any ways its pretty cool

  • same here.

  • is that sposeped be a new type of raptor or something

  • if talking about troodon, then yes, they are a type of raptor

  • Sorry to bust your bubble but Troodons are not raptors even if they have those wicked set of claws on their feet.

  • then what are they,i'd love to know

  • Troodons are from the family Troodontidae in the Sauropsida class. The name means "wounding tooth".If you want to know more about dinosaurs, just ask me.

  • nice to know there's someone out there who love paleontology just as mush as i do

  • No they are not. "raptor" isn't even a species. dromaeosaur is the species of which Velociraptor and other "raptors" are apart of. troodon was not a dromaeosaur - they are Troodontidae.

  • Troodonts are the sister group of the Dromaeosaurs, both are really birds.

  • they weren't birds. they were bird-like dinosaurs. still reptiles.

  • not really, they still r dinos

  • Deinonychosaurs share every charcteristic with Archeopteryx, and so could be called birds, since Archeopteryx was definitely a bird, albeit very primitive. Both have feathers on the hind legs to some degree, both have backward-curving teeth, both have halluces, both have the same manual arrangement, and both, to some degree, have a hyperextendible second toe.

  • Archeopteryx is half bird half dino and they had lizard hips

  • a bird is a dino since Dinosauria is the "superclade" of Avialae. Hip arrangement doesn't matter for pritimive birds; deinonychosaurs have both the traditional hip arrangement and ophisthopubic hips.

  • dinosaurs are not either, they have evolved into their own type of animal anyway deinonychosaurs isnt a creature i think u mean deinonychosauridae or deinonychus

  • Deinonychosaurs are the clade that comprises both Troodontidae, Dromaeosauridae. It is more of a case of "Dolphins are whales, but not all whales are dolphins."

  • ??????

  • The second sentence was about the position of Paraves in relation to Dinosauria, (Paraves being made of Deinonychosauria, Avialae.) I understand people who haven't heard of Deinonychosauria.

  • is that sposeped be a new type of raptor or something

  • Actually, I think the fastest known were the ornithomimids of the Cretaceous. The are thought to have run about 36 m.p.h.

  • Why not a "Beta's Footstep?" Starring an Arentinosauus stalked by a Charcharadontosaurus named "Brown Nose"? YEH I KNOW Gay

  • Troodon is able to run 50 m.p.h.

  • I would rather say "was"

  • I read in books that they did run 50.

  • 6:47 = PWN3D!!!

  • nice vid dude @@@@

  • I rated it 5 stars cool discovery channel. I saw this on discovery channel website but never found the opportunity to watch...Thanks for the upload

  • Yay this is mine favorite episode thanks for uploading.
