  • Brilliant ;)

  • If it ain't blue, it just won't do

  • FUCK YEAH! JOHN DEERE!!!

  • that mchale looks a best. ive never used one of them either

  • Dem mchales are a great job handles the 30ft na boder unlike dem shitty jd578s

  • john deere make the best tractors on the marketand the best balers for australian silage and hay conditions. but i will say that i have never baled with a mchale

  • my mchale is good on wetter grass but poor bales in hay even with pressure gauge in the red zone every bale as yet not had a blockage of any sort (1200 bales)

  • man, that McHale makes some nice tight rolls. wish i has that setup!!!

  • wat hp would u want 2 drive this baler??

    any1

  • McHale reccomend 80 hp or more but in reality you would want 110hp min, to make anyway decent bales, chop silage or work on slopes etc.... Even the 6930 hits the black powerline now and agin in heavy going.

  • great baler best there is,

  • Yea, they're the job alright, not much to match them for preformance, reliability and build quality. Got a brand new ordered for this season.

  • what contractor is this.

  • H Kearns silage contracting, we operate in the kildare area, mainly in the northern half of the county

  • Nice Video . John Deere are good tractors

  • Do you run the baler on 540E?The guy i work for has a Deutz-Fahr agroton 130 opened up to 145HP on a JD578 baler and he does most of the time.He says it saves a lot of diesel.Just wondering if you do.

  • Yea, 540 economy, saves on diesel and makes the cab a little bit quieter, 6930, has more than enough power even in 540e no matter what the conditions.

  • awesome baler

  • yeah power beyond same as the fusion.Baler only takes oil when it needs it.

  • yea thats the way it works

  • Have you the baler piped through the power beyond or the spools?

  • not too sure what you mean there, but only the pick up raise and lower are worked off of a spool.

  • McHale All Da Way

  • Fucking tasty kit

  • Buttons or levers?

  • buttons, everything is electric servo control, with the cycle being automatic, so when the buzzers goes off you just sit there and it does it all its self.

  • Ah ya just wondering beacause my uncle has same one...buttons ya are supposed to be less troublesome!

  • Well, maybe thay are, but I prefer levers.

I guess thats because I always ran balers like that.

  • 6820 *******

  • Explain your point

  • prefer the welger

  • nice wid m8ty ... gd to see a job deere in action wish a stil wrkd on farms. use to love bailing with me jd 5820 with a welger 320 bailer

  • nice tractor

  • Great driving, good speed! ;)

  • i got a 7210 john deere to bail with really nice tractor

  • A 7210 iS a great tractor for just about anything.

  • Do you really need that size of tractor to pull a baler of that size? At the price of diesel I would have thought a lesser one would do!

  • Not really in normal conditions, but the extra power does come in handy. Bigger tractor is needed for other jobs though.

  • Does your tractor beep when the bail is ready or do you have a light that comes on?

  • It beeps when the bale is ready to be tied so you know when to stop, then it ties it, opens the door and beeps again when its closed, to tell you to move off again

  • Ok because the light on the one we use just turns a light on, maybe the beeper is broke? I am going to have to look into this. thankya

  • It is the 560 you have, is it? because the moniters are different in the the three different McHale balers

  • I think so. now I got to go out to the machine shed and look. but i,m pretty sure it is. If worst comes to worst I will just have my mechanic plug in the reader and see what codes come up. I should probably have all my stuff checked anyway.

  • Great vid. Must have watched this 50 times with my kid over the past few months - he's barely 2 but is fascinated with baling since seeing it 'live' last summer!

  • Just like me when I was small, couldn't get enough of tractors, and I still can't!

  • ^same, im 13 though. :D

  • you've got to love deeres =D

  • man tht hing is eating it up. looks like u got a pretty good stand. I dont know nething bout them but i kno a guy tht got a new baler so tht he never had to stop. when he would open the back door a new chamber would form tht started a new bale. pretty cool

  • that is a bloody good baler. what an awsome outfit you have. We have mainly john deeres too, just older that yours.

  • is that one of sallys

  • Good God no! different business altogether, nothin to do with J sally. Thought he was all pit silage?

  • mchale is ok if u live in scotland any where elce u have to have a welgar

  • Whats the logic behind that one and whos in scotland.

  • well welgar make all the roolers that are ins ide the most blers and to be honest i dnt mean to offend any scotish but it is just because it has mc in mchale

  • I see. Well its true that the McHale 560 is a combination of the best bits of alot of different balers, eg welgar pick up and john deere back door, but thats why its such a ledgend and why its such a good machine.

  • yeah!!cool move

  • i do admit that mchale have made some good balers like balers and wapper in one but we have a welger and 2 john deeres

  • Started out with Two RP 12s had an RP 200 Two john Deere 575s and six 578s. got the mchale this year and it was better than any of the balers we used previously, not that the 06' 578 was a bad machine, we still have a 578, its just slow, prone to blocking and had a bad netting system, not a prop with the mchale. King of balers!
