when the notch on the cam lobe comes around it lifts the exhaust valve slighlty off its seat relieving compression thus making it easier to start! it's genuis. and yes it really works.
Hmmmm. Sounds a little like bravo sierra. I see and understand how it works, but having more moving parts scares me away. Not that it matters, I have 2 EVO's to wear out before I get a TC.
What sort of reliability analyses or tests have been done? I see nothing on the web site but marketing wank. S&S is a good company with great products, but this worries me.
Ah, Bravo Sierra, Yeh Briggs and Stratton! Ya they been doing it for years as well as many other four stroke engines. Nothing new here only reapplied to a different engine platform!

now they both need new starters!
and ??check the wiring i bet youll find a few burnt wires from too much heat going through them,right at the regulater,rectifiers
