he speaks about a certain complicity from the africans in the slave trade , loool which is very laughable since every kings that refused to sell people were killed and replace , there wernt many choices , and then they say africans used to sell their brothers lool , we see the same today in africa with those president put in power by the western world that are betraying their people by selling for cheap national ressources , the lumumba and sankara of yesterday fighting against slavery all died
Now these are the type of 'Returnees' that I admire! They are fitting in and see themselves at 'home'! No airs and graces, and furthermore they are admitting the difficulties in the beginning, but they stuck it out, and are encouraging others with their mindset, to give it a try!
They're NOT trying to stick out, but are assimilating as best they can, and are enjoying it! I get the idea that they saw themselves as Africans, long before going to Benin!
@PrinceNoirAmericain Well at least YOU know the angle I'm coming from! Africanism is a state of the mind...think like or as an African.....then everything falls into place then...VOILA! YOUR AN AFRICAN!
@vixxy02 what i do now? i thoght we made peace u know how i really feel i just aint taking no shit i swore to u i wud not insult u and i will not now wat bosslady? wat i do? if i crossed the line am sorry

you dont have to wear a hairshirt to enjoy african life.. africans dont do it..so whatever floats your boat.. but the extreme change of lifestyle here is over the top.. in my opinion... africans will never do that.

If they leave and go to benin they are doing god for the kids but u don't mention that do you? All you are worried about is what they are wearing? Oh you admit you luv your cushy lifestyle so much living in Africa is to good for you freakin hypocrite

Tres bien my brother! I love seeing and hearing about brothers and sisters who are making active efforts to connect with the motherland. I wonder if there are any orgnaisations which help those who are seeking to relocate?
Thanks for the comment brother, I don't know of any organizations like that, however, the Jaw family has helped other Caribbeans relocate to Gambia and Benin. I just read their mission statement and one of their objectives is to promote the repatriation of Blacks to Africa :-)
