Possibly because some people like me have the invisible shield on the back of the new iPod touch with the camera and possibly the friction of the plastic shield is causing the iPod not able to slide out

@jozefd14 True. Then I suggest that you don't get that with this case!(or don't get this case with that!

@jrwest1 Silly me... I thought if they included the shield with the case, then they were meant to be used together! Ah well, at least I still like the case, I just wish I could take it apart to get the air bubble out of the shield/or replace the shield which is getting a little scuffed.
