The winner of this season, sadly, retired after a year I think. Just a waste. And she's not even pretty and admitted that she had an eating disorder. But she's happier now and she looks healthier. My favorite CNTM winner I guess is Rebecca.

If you watch the opening carefully and you'd never seen this before you can sort of tell who gets eliminated first. When each girl's shot is shown there is a video clip of that girl in the background beside a still photo. For most of the girls, the still photo consists of their post-makeover shot. For the girl who got eliminated first (I won't say who for those people just watching this for the first time), her best photo from the first photoshoot was used instead.

Americas version, though it was the first, is not really about modeling. They make it so much about drama and getting ratings by casting girls who really couldn't possibly thrive or appreciate what it really means to be in the industry. Just loud, crazy narcissistic bitches who will HOPEFULLY join in some kind of orgy during the season. My favorite Top Model country so far is Australia, seems like it gives pretty legitimate modeling advice and insight, plus the girls are actually hot.

This is interesting. Did you notice how in the most recent cycles of ANTM and CNTM you never see the girls eating and weight is almost never referred to. Also, later in this cycle when Jay tells Andrea to 'wax or shave' the hair on her body I freaked. That's called lanugo and it's a by-product of anorexia.

 Now,the show does its best to hide eating and anything that could possibly refer to weight... hmm...
