Awesome video. Watching it made me want to grow tulips too! However, because tulips have to go through a chilling period of 10-12 weeks for them to bloom in Spring, I was stumped since I had not bought nor planted them in Fall.
Most bulb stores showed Out of Stock signs. I found one online Etsy shop that sells pre-chilled bulbs: Botanicalart.etsy.com.
They have an excellent collection of pre-chilled tulip bulbs which can be planted now in March and still produce blooms in Spring..
I grow Tulips. 2 months back and now flowers are coming. There was one small bulb which was not growing and when I removed it there were white color small worms below that. Now I am afraid that those worms will eat my other bulbs. I put all in one bucket. Please let me know how to save them?
Do you have to bury the bulbs 100%? The hannahford store in my location has tulip bulbs buried half way, and the upper part of the bulb is above the soil. It still germinated by the looks of it. Will they bloom? Just wondering...

I use human poop for compost. It works really well and provides all of my Marigolds with the necessary nutrients they require. The best way to do this is to keep a 5 gallon bucket partially filled with soil in your bathroom. About once a week, instead of taking a dump in the toilet, take a dump in the bucket and then cover with more soil. Put any used toilet tissue in the regular toilet. When the bucket is full I mash it up with an old broom stick and set it in the sun to cure.

how often do i water the bulbs? and how often do i water them after the blooms come out?????????
beliot89 1 year ago
@beliot89 that's what Im wondering! there's so much here left unanswered
if I leave em in the garage during the dormant stage, do I water them at all? The soil won't dry out?
And will the leaves sprout out while they're in the garage or am I supposed to just take them outside after the 12 weeks are up??
AAANNDD do bulbs just grow 1 tulip and then die? Or do they continuously sprout?
