"PortraitDrawing" guy from Russia in Youtube cannot draw anything unless there is a photograph for him to trace from or a life model in front of him. He cannot draw anything from memory like Picasso did, and he called himself an artist ! Now it is much too late, because he had to depend on the photos completely to deliver for the people who paid him to perform. Therefore he ended up just to be a copycat, unlike Picasso ! @georgewu5 "portrait drawing" from you tube fooled himself and most of the ignorant "art lovers" by tracing the shapes from a photograph or trying to copy the objects as "realistically" as he possibly could. Well, the most he could be is an"artist" charging $ 18,000 for a painting ( that is all his goal in art !), but never could be a great artist, because all he could achieve is to be an excellent draftman ! But he did not like to hear that. he is too deep into no return now ! George Wu, AIA
All my life since childhood, I could draw from memory. I used several single lines to represent my teachers and classmates inside the front and back cover of the graduating year book in 1955, classmate still posted them on the class internet recently. Right now, I struggled very hard to use photos and life models or just use my memory? It is something that Picasso never used them again after the blue period. he became famous by drawing from memory ! George Wu, AIA 2011-11-11
@alexman378 Thanks for the tip, alexman, but I'd rather not waste my time with your comments next time... do you have any video with your 12.89-minute try? If not, there is nothing to ask about. You may visit my gallery on "stars-portraits(dot)com(slash)en(slash)community(slash)Timon(dot)html"
@artisttomas Just to know, with your help and a little bit of my inspiration, I made it perfect in... 12.89 minutes. it seems you have the record man!!

I am also a painter, so I assure you that this is one of the best (and easiest) way of drawing this guy.

@alexman378 yeah, but it's not that easy if you have only 10 minutes to draw him.
