@algunjunkie Ok, so some people don't like slideshows. That's probably why this video has such a negative rating. I suggest you go to the annotation editor for this video and add an annotation link to the other video, so people who came here through related videos can find it easily.
@algunjunkie Can you link to the videos in the description? No offense, you did good by giving people what they ask for, but if this is the first video somebody stumbles upon then it's not too exciting.
@EmanGtown You will a press, die set for your caliber, lube, a way to trim and a set of dial calipers and a urrent Load manual.. I would suggest a beginners kit from one of the major manfactures, LEE, RCBS and I think Hornady has one. It will have most everything you need to get started, Just add dies to it and for the most part it is load time.
You may also want to check out ammosmith and atgreloading both sites are a great help to the beginning loader.
Grear idea for recycling of range waste,my only concern is the use of brass for the bullet jacket as opposed to the normal copper used on commercial bullets. The brass is significantly harder than copper, would this lead to increased barrel wear? Brass being harder and less malleable is going to effect the bullet swaging in barrel and could lead to increased chamber pressures due to the projectile requiring more pressure to drive it through the barrel as it's less malleable, just a thought.
@silver760 I'm no firearms expert, but a couple friends are...and they say the brass is indeed very hard on barrels...I'll have to ask about the chamber pressure, I hadn't thought about that one
Yes they will, a normal 22 pellet weight around 22 grains. These are lite for a reason, they shed velocity very quickly and have less range than the pellet. I use it to hunt small varmints up close, especially since they have a reduced range. They could be made a bit heavier and will perform just as well if not better than the pellets.
This is YouTube, a video sharing site. Not Picasa Web or Photobucket, photo sharing sites.

nice could the lite ones be fired out of a 22 pellet rifle?
dills2403 1 year ago
Will those 10gr bullets work for the .223 pellet rifle idea or is there too much bearing surface?
