I happen to own all three consoles too, so I should know that neither the PS3 or 360 (and wii in some cases) are any different in terms of gameplay. the only real difference is online experience.

We can have our "hardcore", they can have their "casual". It's that simple.
I play lan games with my family very often. Used to be that me, my friends, my dad, my brothers would all get together every weekend (to an extent, weekdays too) and play 4v4 Starcraft. In the age of laptops, there's really no excuse not to just get together and play family/friends games, casual OR hardcore.
@WizardOnABike I normally play on my xbox(games like COD and such) but in all admittance, the Wii is a nice change from a controller sometimes. Mario Kart, Smash Bros., and other main games are always fun.

I use my PC for more serious games, and now use PS3 for the more fun/less serious stuff like this, fat princess, certain racers (wipeout hd), slash em ups (God of War 3), Adventure titles (Uncharted series) etc. Greatest synergy lies in this combination of multi-platform gaming. Don't want to mix the two up!
This game looks like alot of fun. Tomoroe after college I am racing to the GAME store and picking up my pre-orderd copy and make tracks all night long.
Playstation 3 - The most efficient and highest quality console. Also, the best value for money.
Xbox 360 - A decent and entertaining console, but can in the long run, cost you a lot more than you thought due to having to buy HD drives, Wireless adapters and having to replace broken consoles.
Nintendo Wii - Worst value for money. A joke of a console. Mediocre and mildly entertaining for about 20 minutes, then you want a proper console.
I got it today, its an absolutely awesome game. The creation thing is endless, and i havent even tried creating a track yet! Only bad thing i can think about the whole game is that the 3 lap races feel so short...

@iamextremelyawesome Wii didn't win shit. They have a few good games I'll give em that. But there is a reason I sold my Wii and bought a PS3. I'm not fucking 9 years old. Its a good family system but its not by any means a beater of the other systems. They have not come out with any good games in god I don't know.. a few years. The motion control is nothing but a gimmick. The wii has no HD support and is in fact, just a game cube repackaged with motion control and a few new features.

I play lan games with my family very often. Used to be that me, my friends, my dad, my brothers would all get together every weekend (to an extent, weekdays too) and play 4v4 Starcraft. In the age of laptops, there's really no excuse not to just get together and play family/friends games, casual OR hardcore.

I use my PC for more serious games, and now use PS3 for the more fun/less serious stuff like this, fat princess, certain racers (wipeout hd), slash em ups (God of War 3), Adventure titles (Uncharted series) etc. Greatest synergy lies in this combination of multi-platform gaming. Don't want to mix the two up!

These are the FACTS.
PC - The infinite ruler of gaming.
Playstation 3 - The most efficient and highest quality console. Also, the best value for money.
Xbox 360 - A decent and entertaining console, but can in the long run, cost you a lot more than you thought due to having to buy HD drives, Wireless adapters and having to replace broken consoles.
Nintendo Wii - Worst value for money. A joke of a console. Mediocre and mildly entertaining for about 20 minutes, then you want a proper console.
