I feel really bad for the mom..I'm sure it's like she's reliving the event all over again...And then,I'm sure at some point she once loved that man, because she choose to have a child with him.....so for him to be the one to kill their child,I'm sure that had to be more than devastating!!!
From my understanding, the reason everyone is accusing the dad because he didn' call police and he changed his daughter clothes. Why would u change your child clothes if you knew they were near death.
If your kid goes missing and you live by an alley, are u saying that your instinct wouldnt be to go to the alley? Come on man, stop incrimidating people. I dont care if its a dog, if you have an alley next to you your instinct is to go in that alley. You woulda done the same shit. Besides, if you are going to kill your kid, why would you kill them that close to the house? The killer obviously cared enough to kill Mya outside, so if its the dad why wouldnt you go further than that to kill her?
sashay u got a point, the police need to look into the dad, because that dont make sense at all, i know my first instinct would of been to check the house then call the police .............but check the alley doesnt sound reasonable, but at the same time why would her dad want to kill his own daughter in that brutal way.
this little girl live by my house, she really dont live where she got murdered she live with her momma and grandma right by my house, and its just crazy how many times i seen this girl playing in the front wit all the other kids, then 1 day she just dead..................who ever did this to this little girl need to be shot in the face, cuz it didnt take all that to kill that little girl............RIP MYA LYONS
Well they took dna samples from all the men in the home. I don't think someone would be so dumb as to offer up dna knowing they killed her. You can't always assume it's an inside job. Remember children tend to be free spirits who think they were bulletproof armor. The killer could have slipped in and lured her away by threatening her to remain quiet.
Question? When he discovered she was missing from the home, what made him immediately go to the alley and look for her 15 minutes later? I would have searched the house, then called the police, not go out and search alleys at 11:00 at night for a 9 year old.

you feel that way because they had not shown much emotion about their loss. As if their loss was not a great loss.
