I do a little mma once a week, but i'm mainly from a kickboxing and freestyle karate background. All i can say really is get rolling around with some experienced mma people and pay serious attention. Once you learn the main techniques of ground work you can then create your own style of fighting around it. Chuck Liddell was my ideal mma fighter- a stand-up fighter with excellent takedown-defence skills.

A Joke doesn't beat Allistair Overeem, Guz Mezger, Vitor Belfort, Babalu (twice) and Jeremy Horn. but yes all those years, Rampage was always better. So was Shogun and Lyoto Machida. And shit maybe Wandy from his prime would've beaten Liddell as well. You can never tell because styles make fights and in that weight class they hit so fucking hard its hard to tell. Its much more effective & useful workout for a fighter than regular bodybuilding style weightlifting & its gotten huge in the US the past decade especially with this guy Pavel promoting it..

A 18 and 28kg kettlebell can give you a workout like youve rarely had but its notfor those who lift heavy iron to impress.
