For the dumb asses out there, in 95 Z28's had those wheels and the V6's had hub caps, if you pause it at 3 secs you can see then Z28 emblem, not clearly but it is there. Its hard to see a black emblem on a dark car. A GTP will beat a stock LT1.

Ya my stock gtp will stay with my cousins stock LT1, and my LS1 obviously pulled harder, but the number difference there is, I say the GTP is amazing, a torque monster for a mid sized 3800, which uses technology from the late 80s, I think there really good! @etb4u some people dont understand facts alot. they always think v8>v6. i have owned z28 and various other cars and yes i do prefer the sound of a v8 over everything. BUT the gtp is a car most people sleep on. Although they are very close to the 1/4 miles times of the z28. stock lt1 based camaros run a 14.2 stock while a gtp runs a 14.5 i think. so a simple pulley swap with full exhaust will help the gtp pull on a z28. BUT with bolt ons and a cam that z28 would smoke a gtp. SO who has more money

I'm getting really sick of seeing videos of LT1s getting beat by gtp's

In my town there's two with the exact same mods (pulley, full exhaust, intake, PCM)

And I put 3 lenths on them every time I race them with my 94 Z. Top end, and from a dig.

I just have boltons. (3:73 gear,cold air intake, headers and mufflers, UNTUNED)

And my car is an automatic.

So all any lt1 needs is boltons, and gears and you'll get the same result

@lurch1489 We all know LT1 are twice as good from a dig than they ever are from a roll. And stock vs stock an LT1 can be as much as a full second quicker to 60, and will hold it through the 1/4 easily. Now if the gtp is modded and the z28 not as much, then its another story. But on my channel i have a vid of my LT1 auto internally stock with bolt-ons (many homemade) putting 3 lengths or so on a pullied/bolton gtp by 45mph. Thats with only about $800 into it. The gtp had that is his H/E alone :P
