a la orquesta se les cerro las puertas del teatro! esta semana! El que esta a cargo de todo esto es macri y no le interesa nada ni nadie!es dolorosisimo para las personas que estan alli desde niños es como cerrar otra casa en sus vidas! pero tambien es un golpe muy fuerte para la musica clasica en este pais.

lo que esta ocurriendo con el teatro colon es desastrozo!! casi nada esta siendo echo como se penso! o sea no estan cuidando la acustica! por ej, las telas de las silllas del teatro eran unas telas especiales para la acustica, un hombre venido de europa dio a conocer la tela que iba las compro y las mando aqui a la argentina! saben que hicieron con esas telas? LAS TIRARON. Cuando llueve una parte del teatro se inunda!. No estan haciendo nada lo estan destruyendo!!! :'( :'( :'(

La mezzo-soprano Lucia Cristani encarnaba a Amneris, con el tenor Amedeo Bassi como Radamaés y Eugenio Giraldoni, barítono ilustre, creador de Scarpia de Tosca, etc., como Amonasro. El eminente Luigi Mancinelli dirigió.

I was also reflecting on the quality of the Argentine elite, which far from any particular ideology (I dont follow any one in particular) has not managed to take advantage of the weath of the country and create something better for everyone like they did in the US. I've been to the Teatro Colón both on a tour and to a performance. I was privileged to sit on the front row. The acoustics are amazing as well as the beautiful architecture.

It is presently being rennovated. To see it brand new and to have been there a hundred years later, it is hard to express how I feel. Thank you for sharing this news clip.
