  • @BratzRock21 um u have 2 read the book,,,, they run away because the big sister didn't like how her family treated her,,, so she took her little brother cuz her brother had money for food and stuff,,, he had $25.00 in his savings and for those times $25.00 were like $100.00 and he is only a little kid

  • Looks like The Hideaways I believe. As others say, seen the newer film same as the book title. That is quite good. Not exactly like the book, but equally as good. Plus, Lauren Bacall plays Mrs. Frankweiler!!!

  • I read the book with my class and we saw the movie, but it surely was not this one :).

lol claudia had red hair and circle shaped glasses in the movie I saw...

  • i read this book with my teacher it was okay..." ~

  • I read it with my 4th grade class a few years ago and watched the movie, too. I think it might have been a newer version, though, if there is one. Because I remember Claudia being shown with sandy-colored hair.

The scene where she's laying in bed is sad because of the music they play. I'm trying to find that scene, which brought me here. xD

  • I thought the same about Cluadia. I say the movie is better then the book, book is to boring, then movie in enjoyable to watch.

  • This book was one of the few ones had to read for school that I actually enjoyed. I love reading; does anyone know why schools always pick the most boring ones for kids to read?

  • the book was ok

  • I loved this book.

  • i am had to read it in class it is so stupid but at least it took time out of english periods

  • I remember reading this book as child. It was one of my first novels I ever read.

  • my teacher (ms da torre)is reading this book to us were on chapter 6

  • i read it with my class

  • great clip, thanks for posting it, but come on, linking us to buy the movie and for 60 bucks??? not worth it in my opinion. I do remembering watching this movie way back in elementary school and thought it was pretty good. Also Wes Anderson gave a subtle nod to this film in The Royal Tennenbaums.

  • can you put the Whole movie out?

  • I watched the newer movie of this, it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while.
