well the trute is you can if you looke good in the used car dealership you can find a car called ruf and it is a tuned 911 im not joking its posible i have one you must look after them they are there.

Well the REASON why they have mostly nissans and toyotas and hondas is because they are japanese and since GT5 was made in japan they got the licenses for free. But with porsche and them not being in GT5.... Well.. blame EA for that shit..

Yer but i own a 944 porsche and i wanted to race one in gran turismo. plus where are the great cars like audi quattro's, renault 5 turbos , group b rally cars. Gran turismo 5 is dont get me wrong an amazing game, but i wish the car sounds were that little bit better and they had the beautiful unique cars that got us in to cars in the first place.

A Porsche is more of a drivers car than anything you mentioned. You will find more Porsche on any race track in Europe, where all the cars you mentioned are made; than Ferraris, Mercedes, Audi's & Lamborghini's; theirs a reason for that.

Take a visit to Germany & take your ass to the Nordschiliefe the most challenging track in the world. Go on the tourist day & you will see that Porsche absolutely dominate the track.

Guess it is my opinion but i have to say the reason porsches are so liked is because they are one hell of a car (not in terms of look that is what i hate) for one hell of a price. I mean porches are like $60,000 wich is pretty cheap for a car.

@NWA90s I guess I should clarify that. In the US, there are far more Porsches on track than any of those other cars. Lamborghinis are for rich athletes who want to flaunt their money and put huge ugly wheels and crap on them. Mercedes are for retired old men typically, and Ferrari's are for the retired old men who want a more "look at me" car. However, if you want to get right down to lap times, there isn't a Merc, Ferrari, or Lamborghini that will beat the GT2 RS Porsche on the Nurburgring.

Me too. It sucks how there are no Porsches in the game. One of my many favorite cars. Yet somehow they don't have any license issues to have Ferrari and Lamborghini and other luxury cars. Oh well.
