I have a very good reason why Shu.. didnt win against Wei.. after the Battle of the Red Cliff.. Guan Yu could have captured Cao Cao.. but he let him go.. because Cao Cao gave him shelter before.. Zhuge Liang gave orders Guan Yu to hold that specific pass where Cao Cao was going to pass thru.. knowing he was going to let him go.. Zhuge Liang did not want Cao cao brought down because the Northern heartland will be in chaos wit out Cao Cao.. if they captured Cao cao right there.. Shu would win

He defeated Zhang He in one battle and won every battle he was in which was alot since he controlled a great amount of troops. Zhao Yun was great, but not matched with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.

Guan Yu defeated Cao Cao's army many times and pushed them back so far that Cao Cao considered moving the Capital further north. Zhang Fei held off 100,000 of Cao Cao's troops lead by Cao Cao himself!
