  • Nicde to hear music with some finnish touch.

  • could you please tell me the model of your lathe

  • Comment removed

  • I read a Tom Clancy novel called Without Remorse where the main character made his own silencer. I imagine it was alot like this.

  • Ich liebe das Video Mann, schickte ich Ihnen eine Uhr für Idee, die ich, Hoffnung zu haben, um Ihnen zu hören. Beifall

  • all your music made me sleepy :O

  • wtf is up with this song

  • is this ffxi music?

  • what song is that they shred!! nice can

  • @acousticflowz Ensiferum - Victory Song

  • Do you have any prints for this??

  • u screw this on a .177 spring pellet gun and claim to work on a .50BMG what a waste of time.

  • @hks426 I think he ment the general design, not the same matierals.

  • Would you tell me what brand/make of lathe you have. I have a mini lathe, got it to practice on. Want to move up to a bigger one with a larger bore, and longer bed.

  • You have great skill in machining.

  • polish it and make it shiny.

or you could paint it the same color as the gun its going on. that would make more sense.

  • but how i clean it inside ? or dosent need to clean it ? thanks

  • what kind of coolant / cutting oil are you using?

  • Your just too cool! Nice video.

  • hi good day,i have a 1911,i want to make one can you teach me the much easier way, thanks

  • i have a 1911,could you be kind enough to send me, document how to make one on my own, thanks

  • polish it and shoot a crow. i wana see it

  • great videos, could i get a print for the suppressor???

  • i would love a print for this, this stuff just facinates the hell out of me

  • germans are genies

  • hey just wondering how you put it on the rifle ??

    need help haha

    thaks

  • i was hopining to here it and see how it sounded after all the work you put into it. and who was that band? i actually played it to the end just to listen to it all.

  • this shyts so illegal fyi people

  • You forgot to make a washer pics? ;) What's more inportant then a washer shape and design of it in any suppressor.

This video is useless; at list the music is cool! :)

  • what suppressors did you use?

  • did you put an packing between the washers to obsorb any sound? and what spacing between washers?

  • you can put a suppressor in any gun BUT if the bullet is faster then the sound speed you will hear the sonic boom so it will be useless

  • I think you should hard anodize it in matte black,Low vis, very stealth looking,Nice job.

  • paint it flat black

  • Holy shit, what a fage get some better music!

  • @kinzac02 are you like stupid you? hes got suppressed weapons i suggest not pissing him off.

  • real nice video, I was wondering if you could email me a diagram with dimensions, if you have one for a ruger 10/22, I have a small lathe,,, I tried making one before, but maybe the center holes were to big, not sure, as still was noisy,,, thanks for any info... dew22656@gmail.com

  • good job 10*

  • Hi,

Loved the video! i wanted to ask you could you please give the dimensions and details on how I can make this for my 5.45 by 39mm AKs74u. Also, can a suppressor tolerate the heat from full auto fire?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @gunmaster1119

That all depends on the design and Material of the suppressor.

I would recommand a single core design with 2 tubes around it one tube that is separated into two parts axial wise and one tube that slides over the tube halves.

    Just like the Sparrow design.

I don't know if they got it patented but maybe I could come up with a new design.

For material I wouls suggest annealed free machining stainless so it won't deflect when heated. the tubes can be made of aluminium of the weight.

  • @erklaerbaer01 first off thanks for replying so fast! Secondly, I have absolutely NO idea about what you just talked about. I'm completely new to all this and am looking for those russian pbs silencers. But just incase I dont find any, I'll build my own. Also, I live in Pakistan so don't worry about legal ramifications. Can you just tell me exactly how to make it, what materials, dimensions (in mm and stuff) Can you pm me that stuff cuz its illegal to post stuff like that in America.(continued

  • @erklaerbaer01 ...continued)-youtube doesnt allow longer posts :P

So basically I just wanted a "blueprint" and all of a suppressor for a 5.45 krink and it would be very gracious of you if you could provide me with that.

    Thanks A LOT in advance!

  • @gunmaster1119

  • All that, part 1 and 2 and you basically made what I could do with a MagLite flashlight tube. ;)

What a waste of time and metal...

  • so you basically clamped it onto your barrel? with all your know-how i would think threading the barrel would be simple

  • @AmetdeathA

    Yeah, you're right.

BUT I didn't want to be limited to onethread size any I though that maybe some day I would buy a legal supressor for hunting or something and then the threads wouldn't match up.

But I think I go with the M14.5X1 left turn threads for the air rifle so I can copy the threads from my HK USP design

  • hey man this is work for any gun

  • Make me one :)

  • Dude this is great.

  • hey nice work, how much bigger did you make the end cap bore than the cal. and did u ream the exit bore?

  • @cs35043cs35043

I cut it 0.5mm bigger, just to be on the safe side.

I will probably make a new Video making a supressor for a 9mm.

I will ream that bore to 10mm just to make sure I won't blow up.

Factory suppressors are 10.16mm but that's too much I think.

  • @erklaerbaer01 did you get that vid about the 9mm supressor out yet

  • tudor wtf ? your music Sux

  • can you post a before and after sound comparison...i understand some european countries sell suppressors over the counter at hunting supply stores. nice work.

  • yes its true you can make one of these for .177 cal up to a .50 but here in the united states its illegal for citizens to possess or manufacture suppressors for firearms says the ATF. This excludes air rifles and paintball markers.

  • @XGCKrazyK you are wrong. it is not illegal to posess or make a supressor in the USA it may be illegal in your state. but there are many states that allow both. If you can legally posess a handgun you can legally buy suppressors, full auto machine guns if desired. You have to fill out the correct Federal paper work for your tax stamp and you must purchase it from a class three dealer or be a dealer. please dont make false statements that cause people to be ignorant of their rights.

  • In the US we are allowed to hold on to our registered guns until we need them then the national guard goes door to door and takes them away. Dont buy into this being a free country. Drive your car without a seat belt, ride your motor cycle without a helmet, smoke a cigarette inside any building. Look at the Katrina incidents on you tube where gun were conficated by law abiding citizens. Confiscating legal fire arms under a Republican Presidents term.

  • This is THE BEST homemade design I have seen so far.. kudos

  • This is THE BEST homemade design I have seen so far.. bad ass and kudos

  • This is THE BEST homemade design I have seen so far.. badass and kudos

  • nice made, nice gun i have almost the same, how did you screw it on?

  • @TheBlabla1996

    I used 2 setscrews.

Bad design , next time I thread it on.

The suppressor kept flying of from the drawback.

  • @erklaerbaer01 ai ok, then i won't do that,do you have a powerfull gun then?

  • I almost have the same rifle and i think the same scope as u :D

  • What brand and model lathe is that?

  • NICE SONG

  • just cut the crap guys

  • i know its illegal... but is it legal if you weld it to a bb gun? permanantally attatch?

  • Comment removed

  • nice video gr8 song

  • It is fucking hilarious when douchebags like n2ecosystems tell others to get their facts straight, but yet they are totally fucking wrong themselves.

  • Comment removed

  • nice lathe

  • So tell us how good did the suppressor work?

  • good craftmanship..

  • Suppressors are legal in most European countries. As a matter of fact they are required on rifles in some EU countries to control noise pollution. Americans are a very suppressed people without many freedoms, and they think that just because you can't have a silencer in the US, the rest of the world follows suit. Not so.

  • @1fatbastard

Americans are very suppressed people without many freedoms? Give me a fucking break. I challenge you to name one European country that has as many freedoms in regards to carrying and owning guns as the United States.

  • @1fatbastard

Hey fatbastard, why don't you tell me all the European countries that let civilians own automatic weapons, .50 Cal rifles, concealed-carry licenses, etc. The notion that Europe has more lenient firearms laws than the US is complete bullshit, period.

  • very very very good man !!

  • I worked as machinist for Unertl. Nice lathe work. Germans are artistic craftsman.

  • CIA protects the currency and the President. It would be the FBI or ATF, but who cares, it just an illistration video on you tube, and their not going to go to Germany so it doesn't even matter. Great Video, but why do people always have to post rediculous comments. At least get your facts straight before making a fool of yourself.

  • @n2ecosystems

At least get your facts straight before making a fool of yourself.

    LOL! so funny

  • Comment removed

  • @n2ecosystems I'm pretty sure the secret service protects the president and currency... just saying... get your facts right

  • lol make me one

  • You probably could have went to the hardware store. Unless of course you are a machinist and have access to a lathe.

  • could you tell me the name of that song? oh and by they way nice handy work.

  • You are a damn good machinist erklaerbaer01!!! I think as much time and effort you put into that badboy, you should either do a polished or anodized black finish (that way it'd be scratch resistant.

  • I live in Texas and only know one guy that went through the whole process the FBI requires to own a suppressor. You have to fill out a form you get from the ATF, get a written letter from your local Chief of Police saying he has no objections to you owning a suppressor, pay a fee, and send it in. As you can probably guess, after a lengthy waiting period you will either be denied or approved. He finally got approved and then spent $3000 for the suppressor. It was for a .22 cal target pistol.

  • Very nice to bad i live in the states very nice work..... Cheers

  • haha... one-handed tool change...

  • Very professional DIY. Very clean work, nice job.

  • what kind of lathe do you have?

  • Great job! Do you have plans or blueprints of this suppresor?? I would like to make one, an excellent work

    +10 A+

  • Thank Godfor people likethis who post this information that we all need weather we realize it or not. FREEDOM TO THE PEOPLE. JERRY RASMUSSEN- - JERRY.W.RASMUSSEN@GMAIL.COM

  • So impressive to watch.I'm sure I'll never - in a million years learn how to do any metal working like this - but so interesting to watch...Thx

  • nice , & i think it would look nice just polished... do you make steel ones for handguns? & would you make one to sell?

  • people think guns are bad but if it was mandatory everyone had a gun when a "bad guy" pulls a gun on someone innocent he doesnt get off a massacre... after his first shot everyone in the area would be able to defend themselves

  • there are better ways to do it. but for what you had it turned out pretty decent. i would buy some duracoat and paint it. maybe next time find a CNC lathe. you chould be able to part off that alumnium(spelling) faster. would cut a better chip and speed it up alot.good vid though!

  • @crashes175

Now with my other machines I am more capable of making nice suppressors.

  • @maylolik

    Don't care I'm no American

  • @erklaerbaer01

    whats so illegal about it.

    Let the dude cry xD

  • @maylolik @maylolik Actually, I think it's different for air rifles, and he lives in Germany, so it doesn't make a craps worth of difference. Your just scared because it's so easy for someone to make some kind of firearms accessory that could make their weaponry far superior to anything you could dream of. And, restricting this sort of thing doesn't save lives. It just keeps the law abiding citizens at a disadvantage to the criminals who don't follow the law anyway.

  • @maylolik

That might be more intimidating if the CIA dealt with this sort of thing. Right now you're kinda calling the dog catcher to put out your house fire. You should learn which government agencies do what. It'll keep you from embarrassing yourself. At any rate I think you're lying.

  • @maylolik dont be such a pussy

  • @maylolik wrong link stupid

that offers canadian high speed internet, cabl

  • @maylolik cia.com is an internet provider ROFL!!!

  • @maylolik I am assuming you are being sarcastic as the CIA doesn't investigate crimes in the US that would be the FBI or ATF. Other then that it would depend on the states laws whether they are legal or not. Some states they are legal with a fed stamp others they are not or some states like the POS one I live in CA you can get arrested for just having the construction ability not even having it assembled or on the gun. God I hate this states liberal asshole regime.

  • @SplittingSkulls

In your state you can be arrested if you own a lathe and got a plan for a supressor pinned on you construction table? LOL am I glad I live in Germany

  • @erklaerbaer01 No but if you has all the parts just not assembled it is still the same as having the thing assembled an installed on the gun. See our brilliant legislators believe, "why would you have it if you don't plan on using it". Could be worse at least I have simi automatic weapons. In New York an New Jersey and a few other states you can't even own or buy most guns. Even then you need a "permit" to do so. At least the laws are changing but not fast enough for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @SplittingSkulls

This is all an ATF thing. To get a supressor you need to register and pay the $200 fee. Then fingerprints and background check.

So lets say we get that done and BATF issues the permit, then I can make or buy a suppressor........but only legal can i have it at this point.

  • @RisingSun350 Not sure what you are asking in that last part. If the state you live in doesn't have local or state laws preventing owning a silencer then after you go though the BATF you can legally buy or have a silencer IN YOUR STATE( make sure you have your papers with the silencer). I don't know for sure if you can take it out of state to other states that it is legal in. Obviously you can't take it to a state that it ISN'T legal in.

  • @SplittingSkulls its absolute bullshit in CA

  • @maylolik It is not, nor has it ever been illegal to make suppressors in the USA

  • @maylolik no offense but this comment is retarded and by the way its cia.gov, and the cia dont investigate crimes in the US, only FBI, ATF, and local police do. Its only a federal crime if u don't have a tax stamp, but like splittingskulls said here in CA we're not allowed to have silencers.

  • @maylolik fkin hater!

  • Very impressive.....you should've shown your baffles!! But very impressive.

  • i love the 1600's porno music...

  • @badbrad66733 yeah, the music is awesome. rare for a youtube video. mostly i just turn it down because other people's stuff is annoying

  • Cool vid. great audio. 5 stars.

  • Now if only I had this machine setup in cali & the knowledge on how to operate it

  • nice pellet rifle

  • Really kool wish i could make 1 but looks like alot of work and i dont have all that stuff lol probably could do it since my dad is a carpenter which he has alot of tools for alot of shit he just buys and uses on 1 job and puts it away but im just not going to attempt it

  • What kind of permit do I need to make a silencer. I silenced a 22 rifle years ago with a 20oz coke bottle(plastic) full of styrofoam packing pellets. Need a scope to shoot it but it was good for about 15 shots. Had a gunshy dog around and wanted to shoot sage rats on the property. I'll probably be getting a visit from the ATF 15 minutes after I post this! LOL!!

  • cool vid...

  • Unclear what was done to the barrell / surpressor to facilitate connecting to each other. Kind of an important part. I've only worked with wood, metal is uncharted territory for me. Enjoyed the vid!

  • I love oldschool engine lathes.

  • what is the manufacture of your lathe?

  • how do you know how to make this?

  • @runescape44411

Its easy physikcs soundwaves which are moving faster then 340m/s make sonics booms to slow down the speed you need to block it with something the projectile flys through each chamber of the silencer the air follows and gets slower afer every chamber because it needs to squeez itself through the tiny hole for the bullet.

  • nice freaking job man, just polish it be generally bad ass while shooting things lol

  • great video, although mising some measurements, still great... THANKS

  • all of that for an air rifle? o,o

  • With the steps shown, nothing was explained, as to how it worked. If it makes it any easier, show a completed project with explanations of its mechanics then write them out and follow them from start to finish. We never did see the insides or how it was attached, etc. The video wasn't as informative as hoped or expected. It wasn't that useful. Try again.

  • @1LonePuma He's a machinist dipshit,he doesn't need to explain anything.

  • @1LonePuma ahh yea it's the best one out there if you need to know how it works or how it's attached then you should not be working with power tools.

  • ich beneide dich um diese maschine =)

könnte man viele ideen verwirklichen =)

  • erklaerbaer01 - did you hurt yourself doing something stupid ?

  • @majorsmackdown

    No why should I?

  • nice work, id anodize it if its made of alum. maybe a deep blue.

now the crows wont know whats coming.

  • I think crows are attracted to shiny stuff, so I suppose I'd polish the snot out of it.

  • Has anyone tried a soda pop bottle packed with steel wool?

  • can you do it with 30-06

  • Great job on a nice work of art..

    Thumbs up

    BruceM

  • Woah you're good. I wish I had a lathe, the only time I used one was in shop class, that and a vertical mill. It takes so much repetitive work to make a nice clean and even piece, but so worth it when you step back and see what you made.

  • Prost!!

  • I loved the Vid, I was slightly disappointed you didn't lay out your blueprints. Ive made 2 silencers for a 9mm SW 5946. The first one sucked rely badly, and the Second one Is over sized and bulky but combines two silencer methods. I would have liked to see what you did .

  • 67,900th veiw. btw awesome skills

  • turning the spindel by hand?

  • Hey, how were you able to tap the holes with your drill press?

  • Bitchin music, part one and two... wish i had a lathe...

  • Hot stuff! Great! 5 star!!

  • whos the band your playing? i like it

  • what songs did you use in parts 1 and 2?

  • nice lathe, what brand is it,tell me plz cs i want too buy one and i kinda liked yours

  • Nice vid man ..however dont think you should put this on youtube cuz some dumbass could do something stupid and blame your video ...jus sayin be careful

  • I skipped some points of the manufacturing as a precaution.

This design only works for pelletguns because the gas pressure would blow up the suppressor.

  • @erklaerbaer01 u didnt forget shit at 6:23 u just didnt want to show us you dont have to lie and say u forgot to take pics

  • nice! but what RPM are you running at?

and what brand / size of lathe do you have?
