yes mate i have the gt205 and use vitalink max i used none for first two weeks and then started with 1/2ml per litre of each nutrient, or an ec of around 0.40

I think you should bring that lamp down a lot closer to the plants, especially a 250 watt HID . I keep my 250 watt around 18"-24" inches from the top. The plant will love it.
