Anyway, what's the hockey culture like in Calgary? Are they like die hard fans, who beat up Oiler or Canuck fans who steps foot in Flames territory? What's the atmosphere like at a Flames game? Does the crowd taunt the other team?

I'm from a country where ice hockey is pretty much non-existent, But I just came back from Calgary, for a student exchange program, and watching the Oilers VS Flames was one of the greatest experiences of my life...... so much so, I think I went a bit crazy with the flames merchandise....... Even the other guys from my class got decked out in Iginla

Can anyone name any other Professional sports team where the fans where all the same colour on their own? and they're mostly $100+ jerseys. sure Philly's got their Orange Crush, but how many of those are t-shirts given away buy the arena? the only thing that comes close for me is the Dutch national team. That sea of orange is impressive!
