This song was the jam at a club called "Top Flight" back in Montgomery, AL. The floor was packed and the DJ always did a loop on it. The bass is thumping, heads were boobing, fingers snapping. Well yall know what I'm trying to say. One of my all time favorites from Stevie. I don't ever compare SW's music to anything or anybody. Well if you want to go back then the era from about 1956 until about 1968 was the absolute best for teens. The music was great, doo wop, rock & roll and r&b were on the upswing. You still had real communities back then and families were much more tight knit. There wasn't as much bullying as now and people had more respect for each other. Drugs were not yet out of control and kids weren't exposed to so much violence. It was a great time.
