Blair is my favorite character, but I find her really annoying now. Since when is the Queen B so indecisive? the whole Chair thing had gone too far.. the problem with GG is that they match everyone again and again. Blair has been with Nate who has also been with Vanessa who was with Dan who may be with Blair who was with Chuck who also was with Vanessa who was with Dan who was with Serena who was with Nate and back to Blair... (plus Chuck-Jenny, Jenny-Nate). the only thing that they haven't tried is Chuck and Serena

If that is the case it is sad that she told Dan first and not Serena, ships aside, because Serena is supposed to be her best friend, and way before S and Chuck became step sibblings and then adoptive sibblings.

Maybe when Blair was making her "deal with God" in the hospital's chappel Dan found her in the middle of that, I mean you have to pray with your back to the door and it definetely seems Blair was doing that, so maybe when she finished speaking Dan spoke and she realized he was there, or she turned around and found him there and realized he had listened to everything. Maybe he was even coming to tell her Chuck awoke, who knows.

I'm curious about what the big secret is and why Blair is going ahead and marrying Louis. If you watch the Canadian promo or just 5.10 it's so obvious she still loves Chuck. Sad that the writers have to keep throwing obstacles at t them but they don't know how to write happy couples. I just hope I don't have to wait until the series finale before I get to see some Chuck and Blair happiness.
Oh and to the chair shippers don't give us that CB are GG! because that couldn't be far from the truth..casual viewers don't watch for CB..and the show started losing viewers in s2.

I don't feel anything but disappointment, every time i am watching a brand new preview. After every single episode i tell myself to stop watching the show, because i really loved it once and i want to keep that in mind instead of this crap.
And I know you Chair fans act like its a done deal that Chair will be endgame. But we all know that these writers are stupid and can do anything. LOL it's all in the hands of the writers. Blair is nothing but a childish, conflicted little girl who cannot handle her feelings and has princess syndrome with Dan as a friend. Whereas before she was the smartest character who schemed and plotted to save her friends and family, and to advance herself; now she is the person who publically wrestles Dan at the CW function, pushes him into staff at the Jenny Packham party and cannot bear to deal with her feelings for Chuck, Louis and the paternity of her baby. Anyway, to return to my original point, I actually like Dan and Blair as friends. I did before, and I do now. I don't understand why whenever a male and a female become friends, people think they need to have babies together just because they have corresponding body parts. I don't see any romantic chemistry there, and certainly no romantic feelings on Blair's part. What I do see is an interesting dynamic and a friendship that contributes a lot to the show. And I hope they leave it at that.
@mmbopist I agree. I can accept Dan and Blair as being just friends. I have no problem with that. However, I will not accept a Chuck and Blair re-union before both characters grow and spend some time apart. They need to do make Blair more strong and mature (through Dan) and they need to make Chuck become nice. Then they can re-unite. I will be happy with that. But this over the top drama and making deals with God is just too much.

Blair looks like a weakling with Dan and Louis. Chuck told her she should be the styrong powerful woman she is/was. I want to see that Blair again, not the one that can't make decisions about her life.
All Dan and Blair do is talk about Chuck, Louis and everything related to Blair's romantic life. There should be more to the show than this and the writers really dropped the ball on what could have been an interesting friendship (or romance). Their friendship has been undermined for a silly EOTA/princess wedding storyline and I pity the actors for having to act out this nonsense. Anyway, I officially stop watching but good luck to others. P.S. Fire the writers for they know not what they do.
Well... I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this scene (i.e., what Blair's lying about, or why Dan's helping her lie).
I do like the two of them interacting, there's an edge of antagonism to their friendship that I've always found interesting. I would never want them to get romantic, for multiple reasons (Chuck for one, Serena for another), but on a purely character-driven level, I can enjoy their scenes.
@mmbopist YES. Character driven. GG has been plot-driven for the longest time. it needs to focus on characters. Not plot. The characters of Dan and Blair GROW when they are together. Which is why I love them.
If they want to do a Chair endgame, they need to make Blair's character strong, independent and mature. Right now, she is not. With Chuck she becomes weak. WIth Dan, she becomes a woman.
Dan will not ruin Serena and Blair's friendship. Dan and Serena are not dating.

She can have fun, there is no drama, she can focus on her career (remember the internship?) and she becomes a nice likable person. Dan on the other hand, learns to loosen up and enjoy Blair. If that is the case it is sad that she told Dan first and not Serena, ships aside, because Serena is supposed to be her best friend, and way before S and Chuck became step sibblings and then adoptive sibblings.

Maybe when Blair was making her "deal with God" in the hospital's chappel Dan found her in the middle of that, I mean you have to pray with your back to the door and it definetely seems Blair was doing that, so maybe when she finished speaking Dan spoke and she realized he was there, or she turned around and found him there and realized he had listened to everything. Maybe he was even coming to tell her Chuck awoke, who knows.

I'm curious about what the big secret is and why Blair is going ahead and marrying Louis. If you watch the Canadian promo or just 5.10 it's so obvious she still loves Chuck. Sad that the writers have to keep throwing obstacles at t them but they don't know how to write happy couples. I just hope I don't have to wait until the series finale before I get to see some Chuck and Blair happiness.

They are not even going out, yet here some of you Chair fans are (commenting on how disgusting you find Dan and Blair together) I am a Dair fan. But I know that Chuck and Blair will mos likely be endgame. (happy?) And I am okay with that. I am an open minded person. I give everything a chance.

Whereas before she was the smartest character who schemed and plotted to save her friends and family, and to advance herself; now she is the person who publically wrestles Dan at the CW function, pushes him into staff at the Jenny Packham party and cannot bear to deal with her feelings for Chuck, Louis and the paternity of her baby. Anyway, to return to my original point, I actually like Dan and Blair as friends. I did before, and I do now. I don't understand why whenever a male and a female become friends, people think they need to have babies together just because they have corresponding body parts. I don't see any romantic chemistry there, and certainly no romantic feelings on Blair's part. What I do see is an interesting dynamic and a friendship that contributes a lot to the show. And I hope they leave it at that.

@mmbopist I agree. I can accept Dan and Blair as being just friends. I have no problem with that. However, I will not accept a Chuck and Blair re-union before both characters grow and spend some time apart. They need to do make Blair more strong and mature (through Dan) and they need to make Chuck become nice. Then they can re-unite. I will be happy with that. But this over the top drama and making deals with God is just too much.

All Dan and Blair do is talk about Chuck, Louis and everything related to Blair's romantic life. There should be more to the show than this and the writers really dropped the ball on what could have been an interesting friendship (or romance). Their friendship has been undermined for a silly EOTA/princess wedding storyline and I pity the actors for having to act out this nonsense. Anyway, I officially stop watching but good luck to others. P.S. Fire the writers for they know not what they do.

Well... I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this scene (i.e., what Blair's lying about, or why Dan's helping her lie).
I do like the two of them interacting, there's an edge of antagonism to their friendship that I've always found interesting. I would never want them to get romantic, for multiple reasons (Chuck for one, Serena for another), but on a purely character-driven level, I can enjoy their scenes.

@mmbopist YES. Character driven. GG has been plot-driven for the longest time. it needs to focus on characters. Not plot. The characters of Dan and Blair GROW when they are together. Which is why I love them.
If they want to do a Chair endgame, they need to make Blair's character strong, independent and mature. Right now, she is not. With Chuck she becomes weak. WIth Dan, she becomes a woman.
Dan will not ruin Serena and Blair's friendship. Dan and Serena are not dating.

I think they have a cute friendship, but saying that they make each other grow (when neither of them has done much growing at all this season) or that Blair "becomes a woman around Dan"- when again, she's spent most of this season behaving like a petty child... yeah, I don't see it. Chuck is Blair's weakness the same way Blair is Chuck's weakness, because of how much they love each other. She doesn't love Dan, so she's not as vulnerable to him.

@mmbopist Dan and Blair bring the best out in each other. With Dan, Blair can be herself. She can have fun, there is no drama, she can focus on her career (remember the internship?) and she becomes a nice likable person. Dan on the other hand, learns to loosen up and enjoy Blair. Their banter is on-par!!!
The reason Blair spent this season acting like a child is because she is not with Dan. Remember the Blair of mid-season 4? when she was with Dan? That Blair was a woman

If anything, they're closer friends now than they've ever been- so no, you can't give him credit for her behavior in S4 and not blame him for her behavior now. I can give Dan credit for Blair's behavior because he influenced Blair. Blair became more open and normal around him. IMO, they make a great team and if they become a romantic couple, i will be very happy and it could take GG further.
