Everything is a kind of monotone these days with no jumps/ Probably because the producers themselves dont care aboutthe music, just mass producing a product to make money. quality standards across the board of entertainment have been affected by this lack of caring.

Yes, hawkguy74, is right on it! "With Every Beat of My Heart" was the single that kicked off Taylor's biggest selling LP, "Can't Fight Fate." If not for this being a Top 5 hit, I doubt if there would have been the classic "Love With Lead You Back." Taylor changed her image for this video and looks great here.

This was a classy video for its time. Tagg63 is right that Arista didn't stick with Ms. Dayne. Whitney was signed a few years before Taylor I believe. In fact, Davis wanted a Whitney-type song and found the one you are hearing here. It launched the album (Can't Fight Fight) and gave Taylor a huge hit "Love Will Lead You Back.'

@MonikaAhatX she didnt work as hard as Madonna and Janet; Jackson;plain and simple. Madonna wrote all of her songs from her very first track. Art directed her video's since Lucky Star. Selected her producers and her collaborators, video directors some that became. Madonna worked her ass off and her concert tours were legendary. I love Taylor Dayne and went to her concerts aswell. She is no Madonna or Janet thats why she never became as big. Its more to showbiz than having great vocal range!!!!
