  • alot of the crop dusters that fly like this, dont fly for that long...

  • Yeah it is right outside Alamosa. Across the street from the alligator farm.

  • Is this in the Alamosa Area?

  • That's not extreme, that do more easy the job ;)

  • Sorry, i forgot to say you shot a good video, congrats.

  • Check mi video, he pass under the power lines /watch?v=dk2I1Xf7kQE

  • Love the sound of a straight 1340.

  • He's got the prop wound up tight in the low pitch position!! Gotta love the sound of those radial engines though. Great video!! Love the Air Tractor

  • i saw one that went under the lines

  • UNDER the lines

  • at least hes not like the crop duster that sprayed my neighbors field, he got too close, and couldnt pull up, so he decided to go under, and hit the tv cable line, luckly he didnt crash, but their is a major road that his wheels almost had to touch down down on, he probably could of hic a car

  • it's like your own little air show

  • Forget the powerlines he's constantly only 4 to 6 feet above the ground at 65kts! That can kill ya just as fast with the slightest mistake. All AG pilots are a few cans short of a six pack...lol....in a good way.

  • Just a slight correction....Target application height for this aircraft is going to be between 8 to 12 feet (boom height) for proper pattern dispersal. Also the speed for this air tractor on a spray pass is about 120 kts. 65 is close to stall speed. Otherwise, yes, we are all a couple short of a six pack to be sure.

  • OMG! That means little to no room for error. LOL! Well nothing like watching an ariel ballet pro at work! Fly safe you crazy basterds!

  • @helobelow 65? try 100-140

  • Sounds like a PZL powered Air Tractor.

  • @toyota38 I never knew they did that. Don't you think though it would have a 4 bladed prop and less prop tip noise?

  • Not unusual. They do that all the time.

  • crazy!! 5 starlines

  • where about in the states is this?

  • It's in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado.

  • Man I love that area. I live about 100 miles south of the valley. Is this near Center or closer to Alamosa? Do you know the name of the operation?
