at least hes not like the crop duster that sprayed my neighbors field, he got too close, and couldnt pull up, so he decided to go under, and hit the tv cable line, luckly he didnt crash, but their is a major road that his wheels almost had to touch down down on, he probably could of hic a car
Forget the powerlines he's constantly only 4 to 6 feet above the ground at 65kts! That can kill ya just as fast with the slightest mistake. All AG pilots are a few cans short of a six pack...lol....in a good way.
Just a slight correction....Target application height for this aircraft is going to be between 8 to 12 feet (boom height) for proper pattern dispersal. Also the speed for this air tractor on a spray pass is about 120 kts. 65 is close to stall speed. Otherwise, yes, we are all a couple short of a six pack to be sure.

Sounds like a PZL powered Air Tractor.
toyota38 2 years ago
@toyota38 I never knew they did that. Don't you think though it would have a 4 bladed prop and less prop tip noise?
MisterWillie060 1 year ago
Not unusual. They do that all the time.

It's in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado.

Man I love that area. I live about 100 miles south of the valley. Is this near Center or closer to Alamosa? Do you know the name of the operation?
