Multiculturalism is what the future will look like-cities will dissolve, not just London, look at the other cities in the world as well. They are slowly getting there. In London it's more prominent as action reaction to years of colonisation. The future will be a Benetton world-there will be conflict, it's natural. When there is a force unifying us there are forces which separates us as well. it's the classic chaos theory, The trick is to find that equilibrium.

This country is great, it is great that we can have so many cultures live in the same place without too many problems. Why do we keep up this hatred of other communities in this Great Britain. Burnley roits between Whites and Asians, Birmingham riots between Blacks and Asians. Everyone calls for a new bank holiday I agree why not make it ST George's day who was a Turk and therefore that makes it the perfect way to celebrate our multicultaral heritage.

I don't get why it doesn't work though I think by and large it does certainly in Middlesbrough.I know its awful when things like the London bombings happen but that isn't all Muslims and sometimes it must be a nightmare for them having to feel like they are all on trial all the time. There are social problems here which need addressing the biggest one being the intergration of cultures as one but mostly I think we live peacefully and what needs to happen is to transcend the new cultures as one.

When the establishment says diversity is "the future," what they mean is "the future of territories formerly held by people of European descent." Outside of territories formerly held by people of European descent, the face of the future looks much like the face of the past. China, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria - anyone see them becoming "diverse"?

Of course, the biggest irony is that if history is any guide, Euroman is the race humanity can least afford to lose.
