  • NICE HOUSE DUDE

  • You should get a tip that bends down right before the bumper.

  • spit all over your camera

    lol

  • Chip? What chip and where did you find one? I have the 4.0 Inline. It's INSANE Torque but i want more H.P. Been thinking about putting on a "Airaid Throttle Body Spacer"

  • @AwdJeep99 Its a Jet Stage 2 Performance Chip. I have the airaid throttle body spacer, can't tell ya if it does much...i don't think it does much. I would suggest the Hypertech Modue (part number 5001). Im getting that next.

  • thanks! i did not put the chip back in yet but i did get my stereo done and got a Borla cat back on it... the Borla doesn't sound loud at all almost liek a waste of money any suggestions?

  • @purgatorybc well I'm not sure about the Borla. My Gibson sounds pretty good, but its not SUPER loud, its at a good level for me with no highway drone.

  • What's the part number to your cold air intake? I know it's 77 series but what's the other 4 numbers? I wanna get one but the only one I see is 63-1559

  • i have the K&N intake and got the chip as well but when i installed the chip my engine coded and my throttle sensor wasn't working right... i had to take the chip out. would it would with the spacer in it??? i still have the chip and loved it when it was in... for a week :( i was looking at BORLA exhausts too since thats what mopar gives you anyways.

  • @purgatorybc yea it happened the first time, but thats cuz i didnt stick the chip on the computer board hard enough. u have to take the computer board off the side of the car, like unscrew it. put it on the ground they CLICK the jet chip in...that fixed the problem for me. it works perfect with the intake and spacer. just have to get it to click, which is impossible to do on the car..at least thats wat the jet people told me lol. and ya the borla is just alot more expensive than gibson

  • What Gibson muffler is that? I want to get an exhaust for my liberty, but I need something quiet and this seems to be about as quiet as I can find. Thanks!

  • @Bimmerphile1 its the gibson stainless exhaust kit for a 2009 liberty..its not just a muffler, its the piping too. round $400.

  • AEM Brute Force

  • To bad it's limited to like 3,500 rpm or you could really rev it and hear the beauty better

  • @cod504 yaa i knoww...its annoyingg ha..

  • Ok cool thanks

  • Ok thanks....... Nice sound system too

  • @mdog20170 Thanks man!! and I would suggest out of any these upgrades the K&N air intake. It does deepen the tone of the engine, you get better throttle response, and this will increase ur gas the mileage significantly. I tow so much i needed my engine to breath clearly all the way through for more power, so thats why i needed the exhaust and throttle body spacer. the chip just maximizes the potential of these components. but the chip and exhaust don't help with gas mileage

  • Ok thanks, I have the 09 red limited like you and the MPG sucks I just need to do something to make it better. How much MPG do you think you getting?

  • @mdog20170 i tow like 5 out of 7 days a week. so its really hard to tell. i get between 11 and 15 towing. i tow between 1000 lb and 5000 lb worth of landscpaing equipment. but strictly highway driving i can get up to 22 on cruise control. daily driving with no towing i can say i probably get around 18.

  • How much HP do you think you have?

  • @mdog20170 I am not sure, I have not been on a dyno yet. I am assuming I gained bout 30 to 40 hp.

  • Thanks for ur reply!

My question regarding the K&N is if it fits nicely in the engine compartment. Did you have to drill any extra holes to fit it? What did u mean about "idk if its worth it" when u spoke about the spacer??? does it really make a difference and is it worth to spend $120 for it? About the JET chip... is it worth it to invest $200+ for it...? thanks.

  • @mikafl2509 nope the k&n was easy to install, no customizing of the car or the unit itself. u take the stock air intake out, and put the new in lol. took about an hour.

and i don't think the spacer is worth the $120, but i didn't know anything bout it, so i tried it. i installed all upgrades at the same time, so its hard to tell which improved the most. but yes the chip is IMPORTANT in maximizing the other upgrades to their full potential, its a stage 2 chip if i didn't mention it bfr.

  • Nice Jeep!

I have the same but in Light Brown and I desperately need to improve MPG's and add a little power to this poor engine.... it really frustrates me when I want to press on the gas while I am changing lanes on the highway and the darn needle revs up to 5,000 and the car barely moves.... it really sucks!

Q: did u have any problems installing the Poweraid spacer together with the K&N intake in terms of space and specifications... I appreciate your response, thanks.

  • @mikafl2509 hahaha yea i know wat u mean. i know it sounds a shit ton better now with the upgrades. and i feel more confident accelerating up to 40 and then 60 to 80 it pulls really well too. passin on country roads i can pass 2 or 3 cars and be up or past 90 to 100. the throttle body spacer was easy to install, but idk if its worth it. it does make a nice whistle sound ar round 4000 rpm tho. and what questions do u have bout the k&n??
