you are very right they are extreamly hard to kill.I saw a lv.101 get killed by a rev do not ettempt to kill one of these horrible beasts unless you have good attack and prayer

actually smite is used to deactivate the revenants "protect items" prayer. yes its been proven that it usses it and its smart to smite it

not really =/ people think using protect from mage will actuallly help you thats wrong to using protect from meele is best because hes attacks are random and there mage/range attacks thats why even if you pray like that you sometimes get hit 25+ if you dont believe me try it and if you actually want a better drop try using ring of wealth the only item that was actually made for better chance on drops.
