This Chinese title of this movie is "Yi ge mo sheng nu ren de lai xin", which means "Letter From An Unknown Woman", basically the literal translation of the Stefan Zweig's German novella it adapted from: Brief einer Unbekannten". This movie also use "Letter From An Unknown Woman" when it was limited release in US but there was also an old B&W US version of the same story made in 1948 with the same name
