do you know how comfortingly awesome it was to hear her say that? to actual hear the words come out of her mouth and to feel the passion a bit more than when you're reading those same words from off of a piece of paper?

Knitters/Crocheters both! I applaud you and you are so right that people that don't do it don't understand the time, talent and effort that are put into it. When I give a gift to a family member they do appreciate it as they know they can't find it in a store.

I agree, something HAND MADE just does not get the "WOW factor" it so very much deserves these days! From one Oregonian to another, thanks for the needed spotlight on the under-appreciated human hands!
